You stood barefoot in your boyfriend's bathroom wearing nothing but his oversized shirt, humming to yourself as you brushed your teeth using the special toothbrush that Levi had bought for you when you stayed over.

It was a simple and well-thought gesture and when he nonchalantly told you he had bought you one your heart grew, simply wanting to tie this man down and marry him right there and then.

But of course... that'll come when the time is right.

"What do you want for breakfast?!" you heard a muffled voice shout from the kitchen. You hummed in thought as you spat out the toothpaste and wiped your mouth,

"Cornflakes!"

You didn't receive a reply so you assumed he had heard you, placing your toothbrush into the pot next to his, you made your way out into the living area which was openly attached to his kitchen. Before you could even get a step closer to your lover a furry companion was at your feet, weaving in and out between your ankles.

"Ignore her because she's already eaten." came a voice as you ignored him and bent down to give the cat a little pet and stroked her fur lovelingly.

"I love you so sooo much." you cooed stroking her once more.

"Is that meant for me or the pet?"

You rolled your eyes standing back up whilst making your way to the figure who was frying eggs in the pan on the cooker.

"Her obviously." You stood behind him, lacing your arms around his waist and propping your head on his shoulders. "I love you soooo much." you repeated this time placing a kiss on his shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah. Your cereal's on the table." You placed another kiss on his shoulder before removing yourself from him and sat down on the stool. You watched him intently as you ate your breakfast, noticing the slight bite on his bottom lip as he stirred his tea and how he ever so carefully placed the eggs onto a plate. He frowned at your staring, taking his own seat across from you.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing." you said before taking another bite.

He said nothing more, taking a long sip from his cup. The two of you sat in a comfortable silence, the presence of each other more than enough for this morning. You soon finished your breakfast and placed the spoon inside the bowl.

"6/10"

"It was fucking cereal."

"You could've made it a little better." you teased, getting up to wash the dish.

"You're such a -"

"A brat I know, I know. You never fail to tell me once every day."

The stool scraped against the floor and soon Levi stood behind you, placing his own dish in the sink and afterwards wrapped a hand around your hip. This time his chin was placed on your own shoulder, "Just reminding you."

"Oh how could I forget?"

"Well you have a pretty forgetful memory...like how you were supposed to leave for work 10 minutes ago."

What.

You dropped the bowl in the sink with a small clatter and it thankfully didn't break.

You wriggled out of his grip, with your soapy hands. "You didn't think to fucking tell me!" you exclaimed, before rushing off to his bedroom to find your own clothes.

Halfway to getting dressed and in a failing attempt to pull up your jeans, Levi leaned against the doorframe. "I'll need that shirt back."

"Shut up you- you-" You failed to find an insult as you tripped over your trouser leg, "This is your fault you know, why did you call me over?"

Levi let out a scoff, crossing his arms "You called me."

You paused, taking a moment to recollect, "I did?"

"Uh-huh."

"You're still a shit boyfriend for not letting me know."

"You'd call me a shit boyfriend if I reminded you of work." he rolled his eyes.

"True."

Walking up to the raven haired you pulled on your best sad face for him as you paused, "Drive me to work...please."

"No."

"Pretty please...with a tiny, little cherry on the top" you begged, pulling on your frown.

A sigh followed soon after, along with a soft meow in the corner.

"See, even your own cat agrees. Just be nice to me, okay grumpy?" you murmured, flattening down the dark tufts of his hair.

"Fine. But this doesn't mean I love you."

"Yes it does. It always does." you argued, "You're just too stubborn to admit it."

"Whatever." he said, turning to fetch his keys and definitely not to hide his smirk.

But as always you catch on.

"See I bet you're smirking right now."

"Shut up and put on your shoes."
