"Oi, are you taking a shit or something?" Levi's voice echoed startlingly as you noticed the figure leaning against the door frame of your shared bathroom.

The comment was obviously sarcastic but by the tone of his voice it sounded serious.

You scoffed to yourself as your eyes finally tore away from the mirror, "No I wasn't for your information Levi."

"Well, how come you're just standing in front of the mirror for about 15 fucking minutes, I thought you died in here or something."

"Nice to know that you're worried about me." you replied with a teasing smile played across your face, trying your best to hide your thoughts.

But of course Levi would look straight past that.

"What?" You questioned noticing that he remained standing in the doorway, eyes peering at you.

"Nothing." He replied face deadpanned but eyes continuing to scan you. "What's wrong with you?" He asked back.

"Nothing." you replied, your mind hoping he would leave.

He didn't say a word more and continued to stand in the doorway, you could feel his eyes pierce into you, pressing into you for information.

He could get anything out of you without even saying a word and you hated it deeply.

"Levi." you spoke, your own eyes staring back at you in the mirror. He responded with a hum indicating for you to go on and that he was there to listen. "Don't...don't you think I look..." you trailed off words caught in your throat.

"Don't you think...?" you couldn't even say the words as they were trapped in your throat, but the look on your face as you continued to stare at yourself in the mirror spoke it all for you.

He raised a brow. He knew what you were thinking without saying a single word."No, I think you're an idiot." He said with no hesitation.

"Well that's reassuring." you scoffed appreciating his humor for a split second before your face dropped at your reflection again.

He walked over to you and stood directly behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist securely. He placed his chin onto your shoulder as you started to delve into the warmth of his skin.

You felt his breath against your cheek, a reminder that he was there with you.

"I don't understand what's wrong with you." He murmured, meeting your eyes in your reflection. "Why do you look at yourself like that?" He asked, voice curious to hear your answer.

"Like what?"

"Like you stepped on a pile of shit on the ground."

A small smile came across your face briefly before you denied, "I don't."

"You do. I've been seeing that expression all over your face more recently."

"Maybe because I look like a pile of shit."

His eyebrow furrowed "Who said that?" You noticed the aggressive tone in his voice, knowing that he would gladly give someone hell if anything was said about you.

"No one, no one." You declared quickly before Levi reacted, you looked down unsure how to explain to him.

"I-...I think you'd be better off with someone...you know...prettier."

You saw his face drop for just a second before giving off a confused expression, "Are you being serious right now? Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

"What?"

"Look." He ordered. "Look at yourself."

You drew your eyes back up to the mirror, your eyes meeting with yourself with Levi still perched on your shoulder. "You're fucking beautiful and I don't know what goes on in that head of yours that makes you think otherwise."

His hands trailed at your sides, fingertips following the path of your skin. "You're so stupid." He whispered quietly. "I can't even explain the things you make me want to do to you." He kissed your neck slowly and softly.

His grip slowly grew tighter as you started to be comforted at your words, full of regret about putting yourself down like that.

"You're fucking gorgeous." He whispered again. "I should tell you that more often."

You placed your hands on top of his and you looked back at your reflection this time with a soft smile across your face as Levi said, "See that's the smile that gives me a reason to live everyday."
