Once again you were running late for work, well that's what happens when your boyfriend keeps you up for half the night and your alarm suddenly decides not to wake you up. Legs slightly aching, you quickly jumped into the shower praying that turning up late again won't cost you your job.
Of course that motherfucker just stood around, half naked, purposely tempting you to skip a day and spend it with him in bed. You noticed his smug grin as he sipped his tea, eyes following you around your shared apartment with you trying to find your items.
He wasn't making it any easier.
"Have you seen my jacket?" you huffed desperately, looking at your watch and mentally ordered yourself to hurry up.
He silently nodded towards the couch, indicating that it was there. You turned your head to see your black blazer jacket on the couch and uttered a phrase of relief. You hurriedly slipped your arms through the sleeves and straightened out any creases.
Two minutes later, you were finally ready to leave, nearly an hour late to work but rather late than never, right? Once you had given a hasty goodbye to Levi and finally just about to step out the door, his stern voice stopped you.
"Forgetting anything?" he asked, you could sense the mock in his tone and knew there was a grin on his face without even looking at him.
You rolled your eyes and let out a huff, returning back to him; an annoyed look on your face. You went over and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "Bye now" you repeated more lingeringly.
A small blush appeared on his face, which you noticed and his eyes were full of surprise at your gesture. You pulled a confused face on why he didn't kiss you back.
He brought his hand up to you and revealed your keys.
"...I uh meant these...but thanks" he replied trying not to keep his composure.
You've nearly forgotten how easily you could get him flustered. You let out a laugh and thanked him, collecting your keys from his hand.
As you walked out the door you let out an "you're welcome" and he knew this time there was a smirk on your face.
