"Are you going to say anything?" you murmured, arms wrapped around your freezing body as you shivered on the little wooden bench. If you squinted a little cloud of warm air spurted out of your mouth as you spoke on the cold autumn day.

The man sat beside you simply glanced and you didn't miss the way that his silver eyes were searching for something to say.

Anything. Before the two of you froze to death.

He didn't reply leaving you to break the silence once more, "I'm being serious Levi, if I'm out here for one more minute I'll freeze-"

"I like you okay?"

Now you definitely froze.

You turned to look at him more clearly, forgetting about the process that your frostbite was having on your body. His eyes were glued to the ground, hands kept tightly in his pocket and his cheeks lightly blushed, either from the cold or from his confession.

"Levi?" you whispered, your voice all tightened up in anxiety while your mind ran a rampage through your thoughts.

"You don't-" he glanced at you nervously before looking away at the ground covered in a variety of autumn colours. "You don't have to feel the same or say anything-"

"Levi..." you began but unsure of where to start.

Surprisingly enough he finally met your eyes, "I just wanted to tell you." You let out a reassuring smile which at first he assumed was your pity but that was before you spoke up that made him change his original thought.

"So...you mean to say you like me enough that I'm not a brat anymore or is it something else?"

He rolled his eyes at you, finally the first break of the awkwardness since he had brought you out here. You rushed out as soon as you saw his text, thinking it was something really important and yes, now you knew that it was. You just didn't think it would be about...

you.

"Something else...that's more than that." he clarified.

"That's more than a brat?"

"More than a friend."

You hummed wiggling your toes as you watched his breath of air disappear, "And what's more than a friend?"

"Are you seriou-"

"I just wanna hear you say it!" you smirked, watching as the slight tips of his ears turned pink.

"A man has the guts to confess his feelings to you and you just ridicule him?"

"I know you wanna say it!" you leaned a little bit more into him as he shook his head and this time the tips of his raven hair brushed the top of his eyelids.

"If you keep talking like that, I'll shut you up." he warned gravely.

"Are you implying that you want to kiss me?" you met his eyes daringly and suddenly your faces were merely a few centimetres away from each other.

A break of silence crept through, just for a beat or two.

"If you don't shut up I will." his lips were quirked up in a playful manner and you didn't miss the way his eyes dropped down to your own lips.

"I guess I-"

And just as you thought his lips pressed onto yours. They were softer than you had expected. You melted into his touch and his cautiousness as a hand supported your waist whilst you deepened the kiss. A soft groan left Levi's mouth, experiencing your taste for the first time.

You were sweeter than he had expected.

Much sooner than you wanted to, the both of you parted away. Lungs heaving for air as the chilled feeling through your body all of sudden melted away. Nothing but soundless breaths was all that filled the silence as the two of you stared at each other like you were the only two people left in the world.

Yep, he definitely shut you up.
