"Are you awake?" Sesshomaru heard faintly as his vision came to.

"Jaken?" Sesshomaru called out rasply.

"You must be talking about your friend. He's resting out in the other room." The voice said. When his vision fixed itself, a human woman was blinking at him.

It was Sora.

"Sora!" Sesshomaru sat up with a smile. She even had that familiar crescent birth mark on her forehead.

"Why how did you know my name?" The woman questioned. Sesshomaru's gaze seemed unrecognizable to the woman.

"I assume it was a lucky guess. It was the name of my wife..." Sesshomaru managed, unsure of her different behavior.

"Wonderful choice for name I think! I'll go put on some rice." She smiled as she skipped out of the room. Jaken entered with a worried look.

"My lord! It would seem we've entered another dimension or something! Lady Sora doesn't recognize us!" Jaken whined.

"No. This isn't a dimension. It's her previous reincarnation, before becoming fused with Chiasa's soul." Sesshomaru sighed.

"We've time traveled?!"

"There is no other explanation for the coincidence of a Sora looking and sounding like our Sora. The explanation we need to look for is why are we brought here." Sesshomaru stood, passing a mirror he noticed a human version of himself. His white hair was more of a pale blonde color. He bore no resemblance of a demon, yet Jaken did. This must be another thing this vision was trying to emphasize.

....

"So you already know my name, and I know your little friend is named Jaken. What should I call you?" Sora asked with a smile.

"I am Lord Sesshomaru, but I give you the honor of calling me Sesshomaru. This is my demon lackey, Jaken." Sesshomaru nodded over to Jaken who bowed.

"Such an interesting name. I must say you both are dressed in the most strangest of ways. It's 1925 and you both are dressing like its medieval times. I'll have to fix that soon." Sora beamed as she looked at their outfits.

"You mustn't do much for us, we don't intend to stay long. I need to find my wife, she's having a baby." Sesshomaru stood.

"The rainy season's here, you won't make it anywhere outside the town." Sora looked up at Sesshomaru with a similar gaze to that of his Sora's. For the first time in Sesshomaru's life, he had no idea how to free himself from a situation.
