Noah POV
"So, you're going to stay with Tyler until you have enough money to live in your own apartment?" Olivia asked for the hundredth time that morning.
"Yup, and before you ask me again, I am. I am staying with Tyler for the time being since he doesn't want me going home" I said, ruffling up Olivia's hair as she pouts at me.
"But why aren't you living with me?!" He huffs, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm your girlfriend!".
I laugh at her childish behaviour while reaching into my locker and taking out my books. It's my first day back at school in three days. Tyler wanted me to stay away from school for a little while longer because the stress could make my already bad mental state worse. He's been such a mother recently. I don't mind though, its cute.
"Yes, Olivia, you are my girlfriend and I love you, but I'm staying with Tyler" I said, slamming my locker shut.
"You love me?" she asked, her eyebrows folded into a confused line.
"Not yet, it just felt like the right thing to say to get you to shut up" I smiled, she punched me lightly on the arm.
"I preffered you when you were scared of me, now you're just a jerk" I laughed at her again, only to receive a second punch.
"Come on, let's go to class" I said, rubbing my arm. The second punch wasn't as light, and I swear that girl has super strength.
"47 days, that's all we have left" she said, walking next to me as we made our way to our classrooms.
"That's a month and a half Olivia, it's plenty of time" I smiled and she smiled too.
"Yeah, you're right. Just don't fall in love with anyone else during that time or else I'll murder you. Trust me, killing you will be a blessing, because if I didn't, the rest of the school will" she threatened. I knew she was right, but a scared part of my brain was saying too late, which I found very uncomfortable. I wasn't in love with Tyler, and that's final. I've only spoken to him a total of 27 times, including the short conversions we have during dinner and before we go to bed. And for some reason, we're sharing a bed. He has his own home to go to that isn't the cafe, and yet he chooses to stay with me, I won't question it though since he hasn't brought it up as an issue.
I kissed her on the cheek and she went into her classroom, I left to go to mine immediately afterwards.
~~~
The remainder of the day went by as per usual. It was a pretty boring day and the only thing that was slightly interesting is whatevers going on with Olivia and Mia.
They haven't talked in days apparently. According to Olivia it 'doesn't matter' but by the way she looks at Mia, I can tell that something is bothering her. Mia has been looking over at Olivia all day, she just looks upset with whatever is going on, it's like they want to talk to each other but can't. Which is just fucking stupid.
I won't get involved in anything though, I have my own problems to deal with before I can even start thinking about solving someone else's problems.
"Hey princess~" Tyler said, leaning against my car.
"Hey, I thought you had work today, what are you doing here?" I questioned. I'm not complaining about the fact he's here, I'm just confused. He never said he would meet me after school, well, I don't think he did.
"I just wanted to pay my favourite person a visit" he smiled. I gave him a skeptical look, I don't trust that. He's up to something I just know it. I may as well just play whatever game he's started.
