"Ian. Also, about Rarity. There are some things that you should know about her." Anthony said. "Like, she is a very independent mare. She doesn't rely on men. She rarely experiences romance in her lifetime, but she does like the casual lovey-dovey stuff. However, she only likes ponies that are pure gentlemen--uh... gentlecolts." Said, Anthony. "So, you might have a chance with her. Who knows? That is, if you don't screw it up."
"Wow! Really? So, I do have a chance with her! That's good to know, buddy. Thanks for the tip of advice." Ian said, happily. He then stopped dead in his tracks. "Hey! As if, I screw up things!"
"Riiight." Anthony said in a sarcastic tone. "Of course, you don't." He added in, changing the subject of the conversation. "Also, there are two more things that I forgot to tell you about." He said in a nervous tone.
"Two things? Well, what is the first thing?" Asked Ian.
"It has to do with Rarity. You have a small competition with her. There is a purple dragon I told you about named Spike, who has a crush on Rarity. But, not to worry. It is nothing major, since him and Rarity are both just friends. So, there is nothing for you to be jealous about."
"Ohhh. Hmmm, well that's good to know. I will keep that in mind." Ian said. "So, Anthony what was the second thing that you wanted to tell me about?"
"Right. The second thing has nothing to do with Rarity. But, it's...well," Anthony became serious. "How are we gonna get back home? Where should we go exactly, after Pinkie Pie is done giving us a tour around Ponyville? I have no idea, how long we are going to spend time here in this world?"
"I'm not really sure, man. I don't exactly know this place well, like the back of my head. You mostly know this place well, since you have watched many seasons of this show to know enough about what happens and which characters are which." Ian winked at Anthony, reassuring him. "But don't you worry, Anthony. I'm sure that you can figure it out somehow. Eventually--"
"Hey, there!" The door opened, and out came Pinkie Pie first, then Rarity.
"We're back~!" Rarity declared in her British accent. "I hope we didn't keep you two gentlecolts waiting out there, for far too long."
"No, really it's fine." Anthony said. "We have been patient for, so much time now. That we have gotten used to it."
"So, we have came to a decision." Pinkie said. "Me and Rarity, have both decided that we should all go have a picnic together!"
"A picnic? That sure sounds nice." Ian said.
"Yes. And we invited the rest of our friends along the way. I hope you don't mind it. But we want you to meet them." Rarity said.
"Yeah, and we think that all of you would get along, just great!" Pinkie said.
"Anyways, let's go." Rarity used her horn to carry a wooden basket with her. "We don't want to keep them waiting. They already set it up somewhere in the grass fields."
Pinkie Pie started bouncing up and down. "This is gonna be so much fun!" She squealed. "EEEEEEE! I can't wait!"
"Now, let's run along now, boys. We haven't got all day, here. We don't want to miss our lunch." Rarity said.
"Right." Anthony and Ian said in unison.
"And we don't mind that you brought your friends along." Anthony said. "I'm sure that they're quite lovely, Rarity."
Rarity smiled back at Anthony, enjoying what he kindly said to her. "They are! Just the most fabulous ponies that I know!"
Anthony thought to himself in his head, 'Lovely, as in... Rainbow Dash. I can't wait to meet her! I'm so excited. This has always been my dream to do.'
After some minutes of walking to reach their destination, Rarity replied loudly, "We're here!"
As she said those words, Ian and Anthony both saw a group of female ponies sitting in the middle of the grass on top of a picnic blanket. It was Applejack, Fluttershy, Spike, Starlight, and Twilight Sparkle.
"Rarity! Pinkie Pie! Over here!" Applejack raised her orange hoof up, waving to them to join them.
"Applejack!" Rarity said. "I'm so glad you came!" She walked towards them; with Pinkie, Anthony, and Ian following behind her.
"I was done with my shift on picking the apples at Sweet Apple Acres." Applejack said. "I thought that I may as well should take a break from the apple picking, of course."
"I liked your idea of all of us having a picnic together." Starlight Glimmer said. "It's a nifty idea, Rarity and Pinkie."
"Uh." Spike said. "I'm guessing, those two ponies are your new friends that you were talking about bringing here?" He was talking about Ian and Anthony.
Rarity put the basket down on top of the picnic blanket. She took out a purple vase with flowers out of the basket. She placed the vase at the center of the blanket, so that it could look nice for decoration. "Yes. They are, my Spikey-Wikey."
"We've actually meet them already, earlier." Fluttershy said. "But I know that you, Starlight, Twilight, and Rainbow haven't met them yet. Even, Discord." She said to Spike. "They are both new to Ponyville, that's why we haven't seen them around here before."
"Oh, I see," Spike said. "That makes sense." He waved his hand to the male ponies. "Hi, I'm Spike! As you can see, I'm a dragon. Don't worry, though," he chuckled. "I'm a friendly one. I promise, I won't bite."
"Huh? You're Spike? Hmmm. Cool." Ian said, in a confused state. "It's good to know that you're a friendly dragon. I've never seen a dragon before with my own eyes. This is the first time that I'm looking at one, now." Ian whispered in Anthony's pony ear. "Anthony, you never told me that Spike was a baby dragon. Who has a crush on Rarity? Why didn't you tell me?"
Anthony whispered back to Ian, "Because I didn't think it was important to mention. You never asked me. Like, I said... You have nothing to worry about. And no competition here. Plus, Spike is actually really nice. Once you get to know him."
Spike and the others stared suspiciously back at Ian and Anthony, since they were done whispering.
"Heh, heh." Anthony chuckled. "So sorry about that. We were uh--"
Ian cut him off. "Having a private bro to bro conversation about life. You know what I mean, right?"
"Yes. I do understand." Spike said. "I have some bros of my own, too."
"Yeah." Ian said. "Anyways, I'm Ian Hecox." He pointed to Anthony the pegasi. "And that here, is my buddy Anthony. Anthony Padilla."
"Cool." Spike said.
"Hello, there." Starlight Glimmer walked towards them. "I believe that we haven't formerly met. I'm Starlight Glimmer. A friend of everypony that is here at this picnic. Even Rainbow Dash and Princess Twilight...who still aren't here yet." She looked around with her eyes, still not seeing the purple alicorn princess and the rainbow-maned pegasi.
"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Glimmer." Anthony said.
"Sure, the pleasure is all mines." Starlight said.
"Wait, Twilight isn't here yet? Why? And what about Rainbow Dash?" Applejack asked.
"About Twilight," Spike said. "She isn't here for the picnic because she is busy with solving some sort of friendship lesson somewhere in Equestria." His eyes looked up. "She seemed really busy. So, it must of been important to her."
"Yes, well. She is the Princess of Friendship." Pinkie Pie said. "She has to make friends. And help with friendship lessons, of course. She can't avoid any of that."
"As for Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy said. "I haven't seen her all day. But I think she is helping the other pegasi, to change the weather for today."
"Hmmm. Too bad." Rarity said. "They still haven't met Ian and Anthony yet. Maybe they will be able to drop by, soon?"
