I slept terribly, it wasn't because I couldn't sleep because that is far from it. I did fall asleep, my body just never felt this stiff before and I was drilled into endurance training for days on end. Maybe I am really getting old.

How can sleeping badly make my shoulders and neck ache this badly? As a rule of thumb: from now on I inspect the beds of the apartments first before even considering renting them.

The barista hands me a cup of coffee with my pastry, I flash them a smile as I head to one of the two-seat tables near the window. I didn't pay much attention to who was sitting across from me, I set my cup and pastry on the table as I glance out the window towards the street.

Now... I have to somehow figure out how to get to her. Sneaking into the hotel is a bad idea, trying to get her to talk to might be hard unless I get a way to talk to her before she runs off. No... that is a bit of an exaggeration. She wouldn't run... she would give me this look of disgust and then brush off everything I say.

That is if she didn't change a single bit since she ran off - I am being a little bit unfair maybe she has grown to be a little bit more mature since the years she ran away.

I can't just expect her to be open about going back to the Order, much less talking about it. I have to try and get a somewhat good relationship with her - why does it feel like this is going to be harder than my first attempt at fighting for her title.

I shift in my seat as I shoot my gaze towards the person across from me whose gaze has settled onto me. Wait...!

***  Akali POV   ***

The incessant beeping from the alarm on my phone abruptly pulls me from my dreams. I groan loudly as I peer at my beeping alarm across the room. I lay in waiting for a moment - just hoping that it will just shut up but five more minutes of this and Eve will take matters into her own hands.

Throwing myself out of bed, I stumble towards the phone swiping across the screen through the haze. Taking a few tries I eventually silence it and along with it, I stand in place for a bit with my eyes shut tightly.

In one breath I wish to both fall back asleep and get the energy to be able to continue with my day. Begrudgingly pulling my legs after me I head straight for the shower, my senses still catching up with the sudden change in temperature as I tear my clothes off my person.

Since when did I become this lazy? I yawn as I step into the shower to clean myself, a soft moan escaping my lips as soon as the water splashes against my back and shoulders. Even after my shower and getting dressed I still have no energy about me.

Deciding on getting a pick-me-up, I peer through the windows with the clouds overhead.

Rethinking my plans on going outside, I instantly spin around to head back into my room and grab a coat for the weather. I quickly make my rounds to ensure that everyone is still asleep and then jump into the elevator heading straight down.

We should be moving soon, considering that we have been racking in a lot of cash and there is simply not enough parking space for all of Evelynn's cars. A lot opened up recently, some sort of rich man is travelling and put it up for sale.

Ahri jumped to it and pretty much got the highest bid. There wasn't even a chance for any of the agencies to promote the house and she was already all over it. She must have been in the Manor before.

It is just a little way deeper into the city, pretty close to the heart of it. At the heart is a patch of green, a park the size of farmland. The right above it, just outside the city is where this Manor is situated.
