My eyes locked onto the digital clock attached to the wall - I have been here for almost three weeks now... which also means they are expecting me to brink Akali back with her on my shoulders ready to continue her life with the Order.

And all I want to end up doing is leaving them...

I then dig my hands into my pocket as I follow her into our first stop, "An Arcade?"

"One of the few things the two of us missed out on throughout our childhood," she smiles at me, tugging at my arm, "Well unless you count beating and being beaten as a fun memory."

I scoff, "As if. Most of the time it just ended up waking up to prove yourself and going to bed after being told you could have done better."

"Okay talking about the past is clearly going to bring up memories we should rather leave in the ground," she then tilts her head.

"I don't mind, guess there isn't much to tell other than what you already know," I give her a warm smile, "I can tell you about my very strong feelings that I had for you."

"Only good things?" she smirks at me.

"The best," I chuckle, "Some days I didn't go a day without thinking about you once. Admittedly much different from now."

She rolls her eyes, "Couldn't have been that bad, I am a delight. Though the past you might not agree with it," she turns to me, "I am willing to bet my life on the fact that present you do agree."

I lean closer to steal a kiss, "Of course."

Interlacing her fingers with my hand, she gives me a squeeze. Though I can feel my cheeks redden as I notice that we have attracted an audience. Watching the three of them through the corner of my eye Akali giggles as she notices my gaze.

She whispers, "Looks like you have yet to grow used to the attention," she then turns to them, "Hey girls..."

I watch her leave with towards them with a smile, then as the three of them shoot gazes at me I avert my gaze towards the Arcade.  I should stop keeping secrets but I don't know when to tell her... maybe tonight? I don't want to ruin the day with that thought though...

I am in a bind. A terrible one...

I snap back to reality, as she grabs my arm, "Back."

"What did they want?"

She rests her head on my shoulder, "The usual. At least I didn't have to answer any questions about my new boyfriend because they could clearly see we may or may not be together," she rolls her eyes, "I love them but sometimes they can't draw the line of things to ask."

"The perks of being famous," I smile at her.

"And dating someone famous," she nudges against me, "Just know starting tomorrow your face will be known to the entire world and you will be followed."

"What?"

She giggles, "Paparazzi... please don't try to kill them. They aren't assassins, only nuisances."

I groan, "The negative perks of dating someone famous are really piling up," I notice her stare and quickly stop myself, "I meant.... wait... stop looking at me like that," her eyes narrowed at me.

"I'm waiting..."

I sigh, "I meant that it can be a pain. Secrecy is part of the lifestyle remember?"

Her face reddens as she laughs at herself, "Ohhh... sorry I really didn't hear that right. Did you say famous? I almost thought you said the negative perks of dating me."

I give her hand a squeeze, "That would never be the case. We have been through the worst with each other and this is just amazing," I smile at her, "You are phenomenal."

She then teases me, "You really do like me don't you?" I sigh and she continues, "You like me, you like me," averting my gaze from her she kisses my cheek whispering, "I like you too."

She finally pulls me deep enough, branching off towards the table I wait in place as she buys something. I shoot my gaze towards the machines around me, tokens? I guess that is better to keep you from losing money by not loading the machines with them.

It would be too easy to steal.

As she spins around from another lengthy discussion that probably already lead to them wanting autographs of some sort - we roam around the arcade only to be swarmed by more people.

I only watched everything happen with a smile plastered on my face - it was really getting annoying. All the men, women, boys, and girls are like an endless swarm but at least there are a few that avoided us.

Those are the real heroes of this world.

We managed to play a few games, though as expected when it came to the dancing machine I had to drag her off before she got a crowd cheering her on.

Dropping down on one of the benches I rub my eyes out, "Maybe going to the arcade wasn't the best of ideas."

I look at her standing in front of me, "Don't beat yourself about it," I smile at her, "I might not enjoy the constant interruptions but as long as I am around you I am happy enough."

She drops down close to me, grabbing my hand between my legs, "You really are cute when you are trying to not be jealous."

"I am not," I roll my eyes, "Why would I be jealous?"

"Hmmm," she leans closer into me, "Alright... if you say so," she then sighs, her tone soft, "Here I thought we would get to spend time together and get to know the place whilst we are at."

I untangle my hand from hers, she lifts her head to face me as I throw my arm around her shoulder, "You are stressing too much about it, I am enjoying myself as much as I can."

She then rests her hand around my middle, "There you go trying to make me feel better after I am getting upset about planning everything terribly," she giggles, "Well - we can always go and 'Dance Dance Revolution' and see if you got what it takes."

"I would lose in a heartbeat."

"It is a rhythm game..." she narrows her eyes at me.

"And you think that I would be able to compete against you of all people?" I shake my head, "That experience would be extremely painful and I know I will find a way to embarrass myself immensely."

She sighs, "Fine-fine. You won't let me get my way and have fun," she then brightens up, "Then shall we peruse the rest of the games that we missed out on?"

It ended up in us doing everything. Staying inside for about a few more hours. We just had to deal with a few more people coming in and out that wanted to meet Akali in person. Though I tried to not let it bother me.

It was harder than I expected.

We decided to end our visit to the arcade with a singing thing - forgetting about the fact that my singing voice definitely needs work. It was the first time I had heard her sing, it was like finding even more small little details that I liked about her.

That... was even harder to believe.
