Holy Trinity

Ten pulled to a stop, and the front door to the house was thrown open. My mom came out with a gun in hand. Ten started laughing harder, and I rolled my eyes as I hopped out of the car. 

"Hey ma." 

She lowered her gun with a sigh of relief, "You scared me honey." 

She tucked the gun back into her pants, and walked over to hug me. 

"It's good to see you." I pulled out of the hug, and watched her eyes go behind me. 

Her smile turned to a frowns, and she muttered Tennessee's name. 

"Play nice please." 

The car door next to me opened, and everyone piled out. Mom gave me a questioning look, and I just kinda smiled. 

"New Team." 

She nodded her head, and everyone introduce themselves. Ten came up next to me smirking, and I slapped her. 

"Dude, don't anger her."

She held her hands up, "I won't." 

I started limping to the front door, and I was only two steps inside when two six year old boys came crashing into me. There was one on either side, squeezing the life out of me. I ruffled their hair with a small chuckle. 

"Good to see you boys, where's your brother?" 

Asher's smile fell, "Dad took him on a business trip." 

What the actual fuck. 

"Don't worry, you guys get to have all the fun and see me." 

His face lit back up, and Frank leaned against my side. Asher ran off to get his mom, and I turned to Frank. 

"Everything ok kid?" 

He looked away from me, "Is dad a good guy?" 

No. "Of course he is, what makes you ask?" 

I lightly tilted his head up, and he wouldn't make eye contact with me. 

"I heard grandma talking about him on the phone." 

Really mother? 

I sighed a little, "Grandma hasn't seen him in years I bet she was talking about someone else." 

He didn't look convinced, but Billie came around the corner cutting out conversation off. 

"I didn't know you were coming!" 

I smiled and she gave me a small hug. "I didn't either honestly. I'm really sorry for coming by without saying anything." 

I heard footsteps approaching behind me. Billie's eyes scanned all the people, and she looked back at me worried. 

"What's going on?" 

I sighed, "I need to talk to you about Hunter. I know you've met Tennessee, there's Cody, Sam, and Elijah." I pointed to everyone. "Some... stuff happened, and we're trying to fix it." 

She nodded, but looked a little worried still. "Well come in." 

She waved everyone in, and we all walked forward. Asher had come up next to me, and was just staring at my leg. 

Once everyone was inside the house I looked down at him with a grin, "Wanna see it?" 

He rapidly nodded his head, and I secretly pulled up my pant leg. I was about to take the bandage off when a hand stopped me. I looked up to see my mom glaring at me.
