The three of them were standing in front of a demolition site. "I swear I left him right here." Loki protests. "Here? You brought him to a nursing home?" Lilly asks him in shock. "Well, a man his age could use some company suitable for him,... at least physically speaking." Lilly couldn't believe his words.
"Where do you think he went?" Thor asked him. "I don't know, I can't see into the future, I'm not a witch."
"Then why do you dress like one?" Thor teased him. "Oh lord, what have I gotten myself into,..." Lilly said quietly. "You don't know how happy I am to see you again, sister," Loki said, smiling at her. Lilly looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. He wanted to say something, but was interrupted by two girls, running up to Thor.
"Ask him," the first girl said the other. "Hi. Would you mind taking a picture with us?" The other one asked Thor. He agreed.
Loki visibly rolled his eyes. "Hey!" Lilly said and bumped her elbow in his ribs. "Behave." "Aren't you a little bit too young to act like this to your older brother?" He asked her teasingly. "I hate you," she muttered under her breath, which made him scoff.
"Sorry to hear that Jane dumped you," said a girl to Thor.
"She didn't dump me, you know. I dumped her. It was a mutual dumping." Thor said in a low voice, as Loki patted him on the back.
"Jane dumped you?" Lilly asked surprised. "When were you planning on telling me this sort of tea?" "Tea?" He replied, confused. "Ah, I tend to forget you're even worse at slang than,..." she trailed off.
Steve. God damn it.
Thor rose his eyebrow, waiting for her to finish. "Well? Worse than who?"
"Forget it." Loki looked back and forth between them. "I see, trouble in paradise." Thor grabbed him by the collar and lifted him from the floor. "You should be focusing on finding our father, not our lovers." He glared at Loki, who smiled wickedly at him.
Before Lilly could say anything, an orange swirl started to form beneath Loki. "What's this, what are you doing!?" Thor asked him. Loki looked down and saw an orange circle forming beneath him.
"This... isn't me." In a split second, Loki dropped out of sight, vanishing through a concrete. "What the?!" Lilly exclaimed.
"Look." Thor pointed to a business card and poked it. "Loki?"
Lilly picked up a card. "177A Bleecker Street." They both look at each other. "I think I know where we'll find him."
——— later ———
The two of them were standing before the sign '1772 Bleecker Street'."I think we should knock, hopefully someone's home." Lilly suggested. Thor walked up the stairs and knocked three times, before disappearing. "Thor?"
