A few days have passed after Optimus stood up for Evee. Silas had since then actually more reasons to mock the Prime or make him angry in that matter.
What made Optimus so angry? Silas pulled a innocent girl into the mess that the Merformers had between him and them. But besides that, Evee's thoughts were all warped up around Optimus, his deep voice and him defending her from Silas's words.
Which also dosen't make her focus on college lately.

"Evee, can you slove this question?",asked her teacher. Snapping out of her thoughts, Evee blushed in emberassment and rose a bit up from her seat." Uhm...24?",she said softly, making the class laugh." Sadly not, Evee. Please pay more attention to my class now." The girl nodded and opened her mathbook, working on the exercises but soon her mind drifted back to Optimus. She dosen't really know why she was so excited to go to work again. Was it the joy that someone stood up for her? Or was it something else...

~After school~

Evee rushed out of the building and ran towards the laboratory. No, this time she didn't need to be early at work, she just wanted to see the Merformer again. Arriving at her workplace, she quickly went to the janitors closet and changed into her daily work outfit. She pulled the small table with her cleaning stuff after her and came out of the room. She smiles from ear to ear which was strange for the workers here, since she never smiled.

"You seem happy, Evee."

Hearing Silas's voice made the girl flinch and turn to the buff looking man behind her. Evee gulped as she saw her boss's face. It wasn't pleased seeing her happy or it was pretending to be like that." I am, sir",she replied with honesty in her voice," Is that a problem?" Silence was around them, only the conversations of the workers left and right, footsteps echoing through the hallway such as doors opening and closing.
Silas remained silent for some more time, before he replied:" No. Not the slightest."
Evee didn't trust that sentence somehow, but went along her way to clean the building like she had done it the days before.

Silas watched her, thinking to himself. She wasn't like this before, something must've changed her. It couldn't be that stupid Autobot-Leader right? But on the other hand, it might be true....
Silas waved over one of his workers, still looking at Evee, who mopped the hallway:" Have a good eye on our janitor...she might be up to something we aren't aware of yet." The worker nodded quietly, walking off to the control room near by.

Sadly for Evee, she didn't hear the words of Silas this time, who watched her for a brief moment a bit more, until he went along his way to check up some other things he had to do, besides experimenting on animals.

~Some hours later~

The day came eventually to an end.
Evee was again really exhausted from cleaning and washing everything. The last room was again the number 37 with the Autobot-Leader. Evee sighed softly before she opened the door and walking inside. She was met with a heavily soaked floor, much to her suprise. But as she looked further around, she could quite guess why and her face slowly changed to one in horror. Tools were torn over the place, such as blood on the glass window of the tank Optimus was in. The table near by was also smeared with some blood, leaving enough evidence that Silas had tried to experiment on the leader.

Evee gulped down the urge to let out a small scared scream and walked up to the bloody table, getting a bucket and a small towel from her janitor cart. She trembled a bit as she cleaned the blood off of the table and dumping the now bloody towel into the, with water filled, bucket. She let out a shakey breath, putting her hands on the table to steady herself a bit.

"I wish you wouldn't have to see this."

Her head shot up hearing the familiar deep voice of the Autobot-Leader.
Optimus was infront of the glass window of his tank, looking at the small girl with rather sorrowful eyes:" You are far too young to be at such a place."
Was he worried for her condition?
