🌊Chapter 11🌊

A few more days had passed with everything being quiet. Evee went to school, then went to work on the days she had to and then got brought to the Autobotcave by Optimus or either Bumblebee, when her guardian was on a mission. 
Everything went smooth so far, she had fun, nothing to worry about greatly and could relax once in her already messed up life. June was there to provide her with food, the kids and her had plenty of fun with their guardians, the long and pleasing talks with Optimus around the early evening.

Like said, everything went smooth.
Too smooth in Evee's eyes.

She had that feeling for a while that something will come eventually to destroy all that. To destroy that happiness once again she had gotten back for at least 2 weeks by now. She dosen't want for that to leave so quick again...

"Great work today, Evee, I'm very proud of you",praised Elliot the small girl, who looked exhausted from work. Evee smiled softly and put her apron away, then grabbing her bagpack:" I'm glad you are satisfied, Ell." The man smiled and ruffled the girls hair. 
Evee giggled before she heard a familiar crashing of the waves. She knew who was calling her." Well, I have to go now! See you!" With quick steps, Evee rushed out of the bar, running down the beach while pulling off her shoes and socks already. 

Seeing the familiar black and yellow tail of Bumblebee made her giggle happily and she soon arrived at the rocks." Hey Bee!",said Evee and petted the scouts head, making him purr. She smiled and pulled off her clothes to reveal her swimsuit. 
After putting them into water proof bags, she sat on the scout's back." Now then, you know the way",she smiled, making Bumblebee chirp. Soon, they were both underwater and on their way to the cave. Evee was happy seeing her friends again, even more her guardian. She wondered what new things they will talk about again, what they will laugh about. She surely liked Optimus's presence. It made her feel calm, if she was honest. Protected, even when as guardian it was his job to make her feel that way.
But this...she knew somehow this wasn't some kind of guardian protection. With nearer thinking, it may came because the two of them were bonding quite well, which was probably seen crystal clear.

At least to the others.

Evee's thoughts came to a halt when she heard Bee suddenly screeched softly when they went above surface. She looked worried at the scout:" Hey, Bee what's wrong?" The scout swam fast forward to the cave, making the girl yelp on his back and grabbing his shoulders tightly:" H-Hey! Calm down! What's wrong?!

Once they were around the rocks that always block their vision on the inside of the cave, Evee started to pale. The Autobots were all at the "medbay", looking worried, aswell as the kids. June and Ratchet were yelling at each other while patching someone up and Agent Fowler...he had a call with his boss and was currently really stressed.

"What...happened...?"

"Decepticons, that happened",came Ultra Magnus's rough voice, as he swam to the scout and Evee. The girl looked at him, her eyes showing clear confusion." Decepticons? What happened, where is Optimus? Why is everyone at the medbay?",asked Evee in confusion and worry. By the sound of the word Decepticons, it didn't sounded good at all. Ultra Magnus looked at her with a stern look:" He got injured." 

That was enough to set Evee off. She went off of Bee's back and threw her bag on the platform before she swam as fast as she could to the "medbay". She tried squeezing past the Autobots, who were around it:" Optimus!"
Bulkhead flinched as he felt the small human push him with suprising strength away to get to their leader. Evee's eyes were filled with horror as she saw the injured Prime on the rock platform, grunting softly in pain while Ratchet bandaged him. Her eyes were slightly filled with tears while questions roamed in her head.

She swam to her guardian, who grunted once again in pain. Evee took in a small shaking breath and mumbled his name:" Optimus..." Her guardians eyes looked at her, she could clearly see the pain in them. She gulped down the knot that builded up in her throat.
"Evee...",Optimus's voice was weak to his state while his arm moved slightly. Quickly, the girl grabbed his hand and held it with her small ones, not letting her eyes off of him.

"Optimus please, lay still until you are bandaged up",said Ratchet in a harsh tone while he eyed the girl beside the Prime, before glancing to their hands." What happened to him Ratchet?",mumbled Evee, not letting Optimus's hand go." The Decepticons ambushed us on a patrol mission as we looked for energon." 
Again those Decepticons...
Evee looked even more confused:" O-Only because of this energon...?"" Partly, yes",stated Ratchet, the girl could feel him being uneasy talking to her about this. Evee started to look angry:" Tell me what those words mean, Ratchet! I want to know what's going on! Why did they hurt Optimus!"

Silence fell above the Autobots, making Evee look at them all. Dissapointment was shown in her eyes that nobody was going to tell her what was going on.
"You guys should tell her",said Jack suddenly, stepping up to defend Evee's clear confusion and anger." I agree. It would only make it worse if you keep hiding it",threw Raf in, which made Miko nod. Evee looked at the kids before to the Autobots." The kids are right",mumbled Arcee finally," We can't keep hiding it forever and eventually, she would've found out by her own and probably in the worst of ways."

"I mean, we heard about them first and then Miko decides to follow Bulkhead on patrol and run into them",mumbled Jack, earning a glare from Miko.
"What? It's the truth!"

With a small sigh, Ratchet looked at Evee, who looked at him with a desperate look, that almost made him want to look away from her." Please Ratchet...." The medic sighed, after glancing once more at the girl and his leader, who reassured her with a gentle squeezes around her small hands.

"Fine, fine...I will..."
