🌊Chapter 31🌊

Bickering was around him, once he had started to plead for his human to come back to him, after Ratchet had given him the sad news, that nothing could be done for Evee to save her in any way. Smokescreen and Wheeljack were litterly head to head in anger, Arcee and Bulkhead having trouble to hold the two from litterly tearing each others fins out, while Bumblebee comforted the crying kids. Ultra Magnus and Ratchet were also yelling at each other, while Agent Fowler comforted June, who had started to tremble with coming tears in her eyes, soon after she saw Optimus reaching his breaking point. 

The said Leader was still rocking from side to side, holding the motionless girl in his arms, pleading and begging for her to open her eyes. But his cries and begging remained unanswered. Prime stared at the motionless face of his lover and human, caressing her wet cheek, her hair...
Why...why did this happen...
Everything was alright, they were finally be able to relax, SHE was finally save! And yet...life seemed to find always a way to destroy the happiness he was holding onto.

The same happiness, he had many, many years ago with Elita...
And now, Evee had been taken from him in another brutal way, even when it wasn't by Megatron's hands. 

Everyone flinched and stopped with their bickering, as they heard their Leader letting out an ear piercing scream in agony, that echoed through the area. It shook their bodies to the core, but also was letting them know, how heartbroken he was. 

Tears, for the first time in his life once again, were running down his face, as he looked with sad eyes down to his unmoving sparkmate. His forhead touched hers, as his hand caressed her cheek, after pushing her hair out of her face." Please....come back to me..." Even when he knew she wouldn't be able to reply anymore to his words, or in the other case, wake up from the endless slumber he was pleading her not to fall into, he hoped somehow, it would reach her, change the cruel reality he was in. But his human remained motionless in his hold, laying on his lap, in his arms, wet from the water, injured from whatever MECH has done to her. 
Even when the hatred and anger towards MECH was trying to replace the sadness in his heart, it was too weak to fight against the sorrow he felt at the current moment.
"Please...I beg you...Please!" 

The other Autobots were watching their Leader with sorrowful eyes, crossed arms infront of their chests, the bickering they had just seconds ago before the Prime's scream had been stopped. Ratchet wanted to approach Optimus, but Arcee held him back with a hand on his shoulder, shaking her head. She knew how it felt to lose someone you care about or even love. The same thing happened to her. On Cybertron...and here, closer to the humans. 
Together with the others, she watched Optimus holding the girl tightly in his arms, hugging her lifeless body close to himself to burry his face in the crock of her neck.
"Don't leave me...",Optimus knew that it was far beyond too late to save her. But he couldn't let her go. Not now...Not like this...

Silence was around the Autobots such as the humans, while they heard only the sobs and pleads from the Prime infront of them all, holding his beloved human close to himself. They all were new to see him like this, but they all understood his pain. 
Evee made a great impact on them all, especially on Optimus. She was caring towards him, she understood him, helped him. She made him laugh even and Prime's normally don't laugh. And now...she was gone...

Or so it seemed...

After some minutes, coughing came from the said girl in the Prime's arms aswell as a glow emerging from her. Everyone's eyes widened at that, watching with shock the girl changing in their Leader's arms. After the blinding light, that made everyone cover their eyes, they looked worried at the both of them. Optimus held Evee gently in his arms, his eyes scanning her face, which changed as she coughed out the water, that was in her lungs. She remained in the Prime's arms for a longer while, heavily breathing, before she finally opened her eyes, her voice slipping over her lips with only one name:"...Optimus?"

Optimus stared at her, with relief, shock and happiness.
She was alive...

His Evee was alive!

He wasted no time hugging her tight to his chest once more, whispering notings into her ear of how glad he was, that she was back. The rest of his pack, such as the humans, smiled brightly, Miko letting out a "BOOYAH!" while fist bumping the air, before Ratchet scolded her for running after them. Again...

Evee putted her arms around Optimus's neck, closing her eyes in the process. Judging by her sparkmates current appreance and state, he had been suffering for quite a while, while she was talking with the Primes. Right...about that...
"Optimus...",she broke from the hug they both shared, staring into the Leader's eyes," We need to go to Cybertron." The Leader tilted his head slightly, before the both of them looked at Ratchet:" But why?"

"Because I need this shard to merge with its core." Once Evee held up the shard she was holding in her hand, everyone gasped. Optimus took Evee's hand gently in his, eyeing the shard with thoughtful eyes. 

"...A Matrix shard."

I am so sorry if this Chapter was crappy as heck TvT I'm just not so good at this with the feels and whatever, I even feel like it's confusing and shitty, but oh well. I still hope you enjoy it in any way!
As for this Chapter, the finale of the book is slowly coming. I think it will start around the next Chapter. I hope I don't rush through this, because I don't want the book to end crappy and shitty, like this Chapter TwT.
