I'm sorry for the scrappy Chapter I published. I hope this one is better. I also have an idea for a new Merformers book, but I don't know if it will be the continuation of this one or an entirely different book (it surely will end up to be not connected with this book). But Evee will be back in that book! I thought about making it around the Bayverse. I don't know yet. I also have prepared a special moment for all the Optimus X Evee shippers (if there are any out there xd) in the Chapter. It came rather suprising so yeah, I hope it's good xD. 
Anyway, ONTO ZHE CHAPTER! >:D

And, I suggest to play the music, when the Scene with Optimus and Evee comes. I was listening to the Enkanomiya Soundtrack, the new area that will come out in Genshin, while writing this Scene. I thought it would fit perfectly to the both of them! ^^

"How did you...get into possession of a Matrix shard?"

The Autobots, such as the humans, aswell as Knockout and Breakdown, were back in the rescue center to study the shard, Evee had been carrying with her." I was actually talking to those old Primes, that Optimus told me of. They...gave it to me and said I should bring it to Cybertron's core. And they...made me a Prime." Ratchet was stunned hearing this.

Miko on the other hand decided to ruin it:" So that's how you got your mermaid tail?!"

Evee nodded with a small smile:" Even when I told them it wasn't necessary and that I don't feel like being a Prime or have the right to be one, they insisted. And...they knew Optimus would need me in his life..." She looks at the Prime, that was currently checking on something together with Agent Fowler.
"I would lie, when I would say, he does not",said Ratchet with a small smile. Ultra Magnus cutted in, crossing his arms:" That still dosen't explain, why you are the one, to connect the Matrix shard with Cybertron's core."

"That's what they didn't tell me",said Evee softly, staring at the shard, her tail moving up and down in the water gently," They just told me to connect it with its core..." Ratchet shook his head:" But Cybertron is so deep in the ocean. There is no way for you to be able, to reach it." With a loud slap with her blue and black colored tail, Evee reminded the medic what she had now.
"Before you got your tail from the ancients, of course."

The girl sighed and looked at the shard:" I don't know why they chose me still. But aside from that, where actually IS Cybertron?" Ratchet eyed her before he spoke up." Cybertron is in the depths of the ocean, many, many miles away and down. We all used to live there, Autobots and Decepticons." Ultra Magnus continued the speech Ratchet was giving, crossing his arms behind his back:" We left our home, once it died out due to centuries of civil war. Cybertron since then sank deeper into the ocean, not being able to be reached by the humans, not even with your technology, that you posess now. It's a miracle, that the boy...how is he called...?" The Mer looked at Ratchet, who just gave him with a grumpy voice the name of Jack Darby.

"This boy, Jack, was only able to reach it because of the key of Vector Sigma, he was holding at this time. Since then, a human never has reached Cybertron again."

Evee looked at her tail, while the Commander was telling her all of this. Wheeljack, who had to be happen to listen, sawm up to them:" By all means, Commander, she is not a human anymore. She is like us. So the lil' lady would be able to reach Cybertron without any problems." Ultra Magnus sighed, massaging his forhead:" Soldier, we don't know, if this will have consequences. What if something happens to her."" I doubt that",replied Wheeljack sassy," She has the Prime to protect her." Evee blushed at that comment the wrecker made, which also made Optimus look into their direction.
"Besides that, Optimus is a strong Leader. He would accompany Evee there, no matter the cause." Ultra Magnus sighed, still not very satisfied with what Wheeljack has said. It was enough to have a bother around such as Smokescreen, who seems to like to do his own stuff and not listening to him and then the newcomers, Knockout and Breakdown, who had been talking with Bulkhead and Arcee in the back.
