🌊Chapter 24🌊

Optimus charged at the spider, making her hiss and back up. He looked back to Evee and the trapped Decepticons, yelling over to his team:" Free her and the others! Now!" Bumblebee and Bulkhead swam up to them, freeing Evee first and then Knockout and Breakdown, who were greeted by Soundwave and Laserbeak. Evee sat on the rocks, guarded by the Decepticons while Optimus and the others fought off Airachnid.

Well...more Arcee did. 

Airachnid hissed and backed up a bit more, before diving down eventually into the water and swam away into another direction. Arcee wanted to go after her, but got stopped by her leader." Optimus! She will get away!",the female was beyond mad, but she knew reasoning with the Prime wouldn't change anything about him letting her go after the other female.
Optimus turned to the Decepticons infront of Evee, looking at each one of them with a respectful and really relieved look:" I thank you for freeing our family member and friend." Soundwave nodded only while Knockout and Breakdown grinned towards one another. Bulkhead looked at his enemy for a while, before saying:" Dosen't suit you quite to be a hero once, Breakdown." The wrecker looked at him, before looking back at Soundwave, who was with Evee, throwing her up in the air, making her giggle.

"Let's say, Bulkhead, not all Decepticons are bad." 
With that, the Decepticon dived down into the ocean. Knockout was about to follow, but got stopped by Arcee." Helping the enemy, Knockout?",she rather talked in a amused tone, not going to lie, she also had a smile on her face. The medic looked at her, shrugging a bit before smiling:" She felt alone so...better reunite her with the ones she cares and loves." Arcee looked at Evee, who said goodbye to Soundwave and Laserbeak, giggling as the manta chirps happily.

With that, the Decepticons swam back to their cave, while the Autobots and Evee watched them. Once they were gone, the girl found the Prime infront of her, looking down at her relieved and really happy.

"Evee..."

Before she could even react, Optimus hugged her tight, making the girl blush deeply from his actions. But soon she hugs back, tear burning in her eyes that she finally got to feel his arms around her again, his safety, his presence...just everything. Her body was just filled with pure joy seeing Optimus again.
"I missed you so much, Prime." 

"I missed you too, sweetspark."

The others couldn't help but  grin from ear to ear at that, making Evee surely wonder what Optimus had said to her, but she paid it for now no mind. All that mattered to her now, was, that she was back into her guardians arms...

Once the team got back, Evee was greeted with a overjoyed Miko and a relieved Jack such as Ratchet, while Raf was just hugging her tight around her waist. June and Agent Fowler asked for her well being, which Evee gave proper answers to, she even told them all the story of how the Decepticons saved her from being brought to MECH for some reason. 

Miko was done for and asked tons of questions, which made the group laugh. Even Optimus. Evee tried answering them all and told even more, even the fight that happened when the Autobots came to save her. When the girl was done, it was around evening. Now she is alone with Optimus, sitting on a stone with her feet in the water and enjoying the warm sun on her body, while Optimus sat next to her, while they talk about the past events. If he was honest, he missed the girl's present a lot, her sweet voice...everything.

"It surely was silent here without me, was it",said Evee with a small chuckle, looking at the others playing and celebrating while Ratchet was, of course, working like he isn't phased by it at all, but the two of them knew better. Optimus chuckled, looking at his team and the kids playing:" It really was. Everyone kept looking for you."

"Even Ultra Magnus?"

"Yes, he did." Optimus nodded his head up, making Evee look at the Merformer in the back, who nodded at her silently with a stern face. Evee nodded back, before she looked into the sparkling water.
"I missed being here...Starscream didn't really...treated me good." Evee held her arm a bit, looking at her feet. She couldn't see it right now, but Optimus's face was changing into one of anger towards the seeker. And all of sudden, a low growl escapes his lips, making Evee flinch at that.

"A-Are you okay Optimus?"

The Prime looked at the girl, before he calmed down, seeing her frightened eyes." I am terribly sorry. I did not mean to scare you",he said in a soft voice, looking down. Evee looked at him, feeling her heart break at that face he had given her. She places her small hand on his arm, making him look at her again. Her blue eyes looked up to his crystal ones while she spoke:" It's okay...don't worry..."

The two of them held the eye contact for a long time, not letting it break a single second. And then...

🌊🌊🌊

Miko looked at the right time to Evee and Optimus, only to squeal and starting to take pictures, as Bee covered Raf's eyes, well, he tried to, but failed. Bulkhead gulped and looked away, clearly emberassed while Ratchet and Ultra Magnus looked at each other. Jack smiled while Arcee did the same, while his mother June and Agent Fowler stared at the two.

Arcee smiled, crossing her arms:" About time, he did it."

Bee could only give cheerful chirps to her words, agreeing fully with her.
