"Where am I...?"

...

"Am I dead...?"

...

"We have been watching you...for a long, long time."

The light was blinding, hurting her eyes even. Evee shielded her face with one of her hands, walking towards the voices. Bubbles were around her, she seemed to be somewhere else then the living for sure." Who....said that...?" Turning around herself, Evee finally met with those, who had been talking to her.

It were...Merformers. But they looked so different compared to the Autobots or the Decepticons. They looked...ancient. Ringing was in her ears, which made Evee shield them and groan softly." Steady, my dear. Everything is alright." One of the Merformers approached her, placing one of its hands on her shoulder.

Evee looked up upon the touch she was feeling, staring into similar blue eyes like Optimus had. But those weren't his eyes...no.

"Did I....die?",she asked softly, to which the Merformer only nodded. Evee let out a shaking breath.

"You have fought for Optimus, our last descendant. With courage and with sacrifice. The virtues of a Leader."

Looking around, Evee noticed more approaching. More ancient Merformers watching her, with what seemed, to be the oldest of them all. Six, seven counted with the one infront of her, were standing out the most. Could those be...the Primes Optimus had been telling her so much about?

"A Leader worthy of our secret."

Evee looked around, before looking back at the Prime infront of her, staring into his wise blue eyes." The title of being a Prime can't be given by will. It must be earned." Evee stared at the old Prime infront of her, while trying to figure out what he was meaning to tell her." Take this as our grattitude, for making such a sacrifice for the last of the Primes."

"W-Wait!"

The Primes looked at her, stopping with what they are about to do." I-I'm not declining your present b-but...I can't quite understand what you mean. I'm a mere human! I don't possess a Matrix, like Optimus. I don't have the qualities of being a Leader, I never did. Why, out all people on this planet or Merformer existing, why did you choose me...?" The oldest of the Prime swam up to her:" Let us talk for a bit, my dear."
They left the circle of the Primes, going into the depths of the ocean or....what seemed to be the depths of the ocean in the afterlife or...where ever she was.

"Listen, maybe you have seen in me those qualities, but who wouldn't sacrifice everything for the person they love? I'm no Leader, especially not a Prime."

"And that is, where you are wrong, my dear." The old Prime waved his hand infront of them both, once again a blinding light hitting Evee, making it shield her face. Once the light dissapeared, she flinched upon seeing her mother, infront of her, what seemed to be Breakdown." It has started, with your mother."

Watching, how her mother interacted with Breakdown, how she even protected him from the scientists and eventually freed him. She basically sacrificed everything she had for such a creature, that wasn't even human.

"Mom..."  Evee watched the pictures of her mother eventually bubble away, as the old Prime continued to talk:" And what you have done for Optimus. Such as the people around you. Even the enemy, you spared and showed mercy to. Such courage dosen't possess everyone."

Watching with the Prime the past happenings in her life, Evee witnessed how she met Optimus, freed him, her reckless behaviour when she and the kids were about to get attacked by Knockout, befriending him and a few other Decepticons after being captured, always staying loyal to not just herself, but also to Optimus and the others.

"You were willing to sacrifice everything you had, just like your mother. Like a Prime would have done for those around him."

Evee stared at the old Prime next to her.

"You didn't care, if they were human or not, you stood your ground and chose to protect them. Even when it meant, sacrificing your life."

Looking down onto her hands, Evee stared at them in thought. She had the qualities of a Leader...? Of a Prime even? But...she won't be able to be a Prime, if she truly was worthy of being one, without the Matrix of Leadership." If I am meant to be a Prime...like you said, I won't be able to be one without the Matrix",Evee said softly.
The old Prime next to her chuckled softly, placing a hand on her shoulder once more, as they returned to the other Primes. Nodding at them, the said Primes formed a circle, a blinding light once more making Evee shield her face. Once it dissapeared, infront of her was a blue looking shard, glowing brightly.

"What is this...?"

"Connect this, to Cybertrons core, once you return to the living. Now rise Evee, for you are now, one of us." Looking at the Primes infront of her, holding the shard in both of her hands, the girl started to feel lightheaded, feeling she was beginning to change. The Primes engulfed her with a bright light, starting to fade into nothingness, as the world around the girl collapsed and only white blinded her vision.

The next thing she knew, she was coughing, gasping for air even, while she felt being held by something, or more, someones arms.
Their voice was deep, hushed even, as it spoke her name with a slight hopeful tone. Evee took in a few breaths to steady herself after coughing out the water, that had settled down in her lungs for god knows long. Opening her eyes, she stared into familiar blue orbs, that stared right back at her.

"...Optimus?"
