The sun was shining bright onto her, as she inhaled the sweet scent of the salt, that was in the wind. Opening her eyes, Evee smiled, as she walked away from the bar, she worked in, waving at Elliot with a smile:" I see you tomorrow, Ell!"

The girl sprinted up the beach before settling down into a walk, making her way home first. The bag she was carrying on her shoulder was as light as a feather, since it was only filled with some bathing towels and a T-Shirt for her to wear. 
Humming to the music she was listening too, Evee crossed the street, before she walked around the corner, meeting eventually a few people and a stray cat, she petted. It mew at her, happy to see her. Evee smiled before she got back to walking, finally making it to her home safely. 

Her mother, who had been released from the clinic after MECH got exposed for what they did, welcomed her with a warm hug." Hello sweetie",she smiled, letting go of the by now 20 year old girl. Or...young woman in that case." Hey Mom",smiled Evee, going into the kitchen, as she smelled the delicious meal, her mother was making. Taking out a spoon, she snatched something from the hot meal, making her mother shoo her out of the kitchen, but not without laughing. 
Giggling, the young girl walked up to her room to settle down into more comfortable clothes, before she went to the rescue center. Her room was by now decorated with various photos and cutted pictures. Mostly because of Miko. That girl had a favor for doing selfies and making pictures, when it came to the Autobots. 

Putting on some other clothes, Evee walked back out of her room, putting her bag on her back. She gave her mother a kiss on the cheek before she left:" I'll be staying over for some time."" Alright, dear. But don't get into trouble!" Evee laughed:" When did I get into trouble, Ma?"
"Always, dear!" Giggling, Evee ran up the street, as her mother threw a newspaper after her playfully. 
Sighing softly, the girl took a bus and later on arrived at the stop she needed to go at. Stepping out of the vehicle, the girl made her way into the forest, going along the footpath to the rescue center, that stood well hidden from prying eyes. She smiled seeing it infront of her, before entering. Miko, who happened to see her, ran up to her, hugging her:" Evee! You ended your shift earlier?" The girl nodded with a smile, hugging the by now 17 year old back:" Yeah, to spend more time with you guys." Jack, who had grown into a young man of 18 years old by now, smirked slightly:" Only because of that?" Raf looked up from his computer, pushing up his glasses." Oh come on, Jack. Let her be", the 15 year old said with a smile. Evee giggled, before walking ahead with the kids to the tank, that was in the next room. 

Agent Fowler and June were talking to one another, but stopped, once they saw the group approaching. They smiled at Evee, who waved back with a small smile, before she got startled by Miko, who ran towards the tank, already in her swimsuit:" Butt bomb!!" A lot of water splashed, once the girl made contact with the water, soaking Evee, Raf and Jack. Giggling Evee set down her bag and brought out the towels and some snacks she brought with her for the others to eat, before she took a few steps back. 

Then, she ran at full speed towards the water, diving into it with an elegant body, before her feet changed into her tail. She smiled as she swam back up and sat down at the edge of the tank, watching the Jack and Raf, who had by now also entered the water, play around with the other Mers, just like Miko.
Soon, she felt a presence next to her, which made her look up, only to stare into her sparkmates eyes. She smiled at him, before looking back at the Team, who was playing around:" Time's like this are rare. But they have to be cherished." Optimus smiled at her words, letting his tail come in contact with Evee's, which made her giggle slightly. 

It had been calm for years by now. The Decepticons have dissapeared into thin air, nothing was heard from them anymore. Cybertron was being rebuilded also, all the other Autobots or Merformers, that didn wanted to fight, had come back to live there and help rebuilding their home. Team Prime was mostly relaxing, even when they sometimes dissapeared to help the others of their kind to rebuild their home. But planning to return to it...that was not in their mind." Are you sure, you want to stay with us humans? We can be pretty annoying",teased Evee with a grin, making the Prime chuckle with a smile on his lips." We are sure, my dear",he said between chuckles. 
"Which also reminds me...",spoke Evee up after a while," I need to tell you something." Optimus eyed the girl next to him. He did notice her tail moving excitedly a few minutes earlier, before they had fallen for some time into silence, watching the others play. Optimus looked at her with a small smile:" What is it?"

Evee smiled shyly, a small blush forming on her cheeks, as she rubbed her belly:" I'm pregnant..." Optimus's eyes widened at his sparkmates words.
"Y-You are carrying?",he asked to make sure he did not mistaken in what he had heard, resulting her to giggle and nod." Yes, I'm pregnant Optimus."

The Prime engulfed Evee into a hug." Those are wonderful news",he whispered, before giving her a passionate kiss. Miko, who happened to hear all of this, screamed out into the room:" OPTIMUS PRIME JR. IS ON THE WAY! BOOYA!!" The Autobots and other humans laughed, while Evee and Optimus broke from the kiss they shared, watching the Team celebrate the news, before they went back to playing and fooling around.
Placing his hand on her belly, Optimus nuzzled Evee, which made her smile and snuggle close to him, before watching out for the Team, her tail interwind with Optimus's.

The happiness, she had once lost so many years ago, finally had returned.
And it was going to stay for a long time...

It's here, the end of the book!! 
It was a long journey with idea burnouts, scrappy Chapters, a long break and eventually a good ending! I thank everyone who has read this Story, stayed through it and waited patiently for an Upload. I'm glad my motivation to finish this book had returned last year, yet I'm sad, that it ended. 

I hoped you had fun reading this book, journey with Evee through the Story, curse at some Decepticons (or Autobots if necessary xD) and fought by her side. She will return in future books, I can assure you. But for now, this Story has come to an end. I will not plan to write a Sequel to it, but other books about Merformers or Transformers in general. Who knows what other adventures will wait for Evee in those books?
