🌊Chapter 19🌊

It was freezing cold in the cave and the rain hadn't stopped at all. Evee was freezing since her clothes were still wet from the latest event with Knockout and her being in the medbay because Laserbeak had stung her after her attempt of breaking out. Mentioned ray was down in the water, taking a nap so it would be impossible for her to even go down there and try it again. She sighed in frustration and layed down on the rock, trying to get her mind off of it. Her arm was pulsing a bit in pain, but it wasn't much for her to cry out from it. The girl looked up to the dark clouds that still released tons of water and filled the cave with it. If she only could go out of it but she didn't had a rope to do so, even with the algae's it woudn't work. 
She really was trapped here...

Taking her shoes off, Evee jumped down into the water, of course scaring Laserbeak. She swam down to the bars, looking into the abyss of the water while seeing various Mercons swimming around and talking. The manta was next to her, looking at her closely. Evee gave it a "you-serious?" look which the animal only returned with a chirping sound, making her roll her eyes and continue to look at the passing Merformers, who seem to be all male.

"Animals...."

They were talking in an ancient language she dosen't understand, maybe their language? Most likely, something else didn't came into Evee's mind. But her brain wasn't dumb and tried to figure out what they were saying. Luckily for her, she could hear some familiar voices. 

"Did you gave the human its daily meal yet?" Evee narrowed her eyes:" That was Starscream." She didn't liked him, even more then she dosen't like Ultra Magnus, who just litterly tried to kill her. Even when it was a natural instinct, he never apologized for it, which made her sometimes go fuzzy. But in all, she dosen't really give a damn about him in general.
"No I did not yet, she seemed to be asleep from the time now. It's night, you should know humans sleep at such a time",came from Knockout," Besides that, her body needs to recover."" Recover because of what",barked the seeker." Laserbeak stung her in her arm once she tried to escape." Some moments of silence passed and Starscream's evil laugh went through the water:" The little human tried to escape? How amusing." But then he turned serious:" Why didn't you let that stupid ray kill her! Even when it might be Soundwave's pet, she is just a stupid, idiotic child!"

"Megatron wants her alive",stated Knockout," For his....new friends I assume." Starscream rolled his eyes at that before he sawm into another direction with Knockout:" Well anyways, you won't believe what just happened. Megatron send me and Airachnid-..." As the voices became quieter, Evee swam back up for air." New friends?",she thought," What does Knockout mean with that?" The girl dived back down after taking some more air into her lungs, before she released and underwater scream seeing Soundwave and another, to her unknown, Decepticon infront of her. To her suprise, he had only one eye. 

"Hm....fasicnating..." 

His voice was deep while Soundwave just stared at the girl, who clearly had no clue what was going on. But he wasn't blaming her." Open the cell, Soundwave." The Mercon did as told, the gates sliding back. But Evee knew that they won't set her free. Like Knockout had said to Starscream, they need her because of Megatron's new friends.
"Let's go." Shockwave, which was the name of the one eyed Merformer, swam forward, making Soundwave grab Evee by her wrist and pull her with him. The urge to pull away again came back and she actually tried to, but Laserbeak was there to make her stop with threatning to sting her again. And if Evee was honest, she didn't wanted to be stung again.

Soon they met another, but bigger cave then the medbay. More tools, even monitors like in the Autobotcave were visible on land and underwater. Evee shivered, what were they going to do to her?
"Lay down on that rock above surface." Evee decided not to test a Decepticons patience and did as told, even when her gut screamed not to. Shockwave swam after her with some tools, bringing them onto her body. Evee bit her lip, fear pulsing through her body, while Soundwave just watched, his face never changing. Shockwave typed away on the keyboard before he activated somethinf on the tube that was on Evee's injured arm. She started to scream in pain, as the machine pulled out the poison to what it seemed like. After some minutes, the show was over.

Evee shed some tears in pain, breathing heavily as Shockwave exaimed her arm:" Hm..." He touched it and by accident activated the girls reflex to slap him straight in the face. The scientist's head was turned to the side, before he looked back at her:" As expected." He swam to the monitor, looking at it. Evee sat up, before deciding to speak:" Why are you not experimenting on me." Shockwave looked at her:" Why should I destroy a creatures life such as yours. Your species is fasicnating. I want to know how you work, how THEY work." 

If she was honest, Evee didn't expected that answer, but from a scientist, it was only understandable, that this would come out of his mouth. But why exactly her?" Is it because of my connection with Optimus?"

"You would know, would you?"

The girl gulped hearing the warlord's vocie and looked directly down on her lap, not wanting to see him. Megatron swam towards Shockwave, looking at the results on the monitor:" How is the antidote?"
"It is working, my lord. The remaining poison in her arm gets neutralized. She should becoming well soon before our meeting with MECH." Evee paled. MECH? Megatron's new friends were MECH!?

"A bit suprising huh...?" Megatron grinned at the girl, who was numb from hearing the information. The Decepticons only captured her for MECH? And what for? Only because she saved Optimus?

"Why?!",she barked out, struggling to get up and get her small hand around Megatron's throat but she got stopped by Shockwave." You will find out, little girl." The warlord left with his clawed finger a scratch on her cheek, making it slightly bleed. Evee growled, while she tried to ignore the pain.
"Get ready for transportation. We will bring her out." The warlord dissapeared, leaving Evee alone with Shockwave. The girl looked down, not wanting to speak a single word. 

She hoped inwardly, her friends would find her before this mess becomes worse...
