🌊Chapter 15🌊

Evee kept running and running, slamming leafs out of the way while stumbling over roots. She did was Optimus told her to, after he saved her from Starscream. She ran back to the cave. She didn't knew if the boys and Miko were there too, but she hoped so. 

She was never so scared...

Hearing yelling behind her, made her run faster, her heart pounded in her ears as her fear started to form a scream in her throat, that could be released any time. She breathed heavily as she finally saw the water infront of her. God knows how long she was running through that forest.
"Evee!"
"Ahh!"
The girl screamed and slammed hard into the water, making Miko gasp and jump right after her, the same with Jack and Raf. Ratchet, who happened to hear her scream, swam over, a worried expression on his face:" What's wrong?!" The boys looked at each other, before Jack started to speak:" Miko ran off, again."

Ratchet shot the girl a look, who just pouted and layed down on the water." And...Evee got almost dragged down by Starscream."" You saw the Decepticons?!" Evee nodded, being surrounded by her friends." Let's bring her to the medbay, she needs to be checked through",said Ratchet, grabbing the girls hand and pulling her with him, while the others followed," You are lucky that the others could help you before worse could happen." He picked Evee up and sat her down on the rock plate:" Decepticons are roughless and brutal. You should always be careful with them."

"Yes, Ratchet."

"Which still dosen't explain why you three have followed her!",raised the medic his voice;" Especially you, Jack and Raf! You know how dangerous the Decepticons are!" Evee gulped hearing the loud voices and covered her ears slightly. But she understood the medic, he was just worried but to scream...? That wasn't really needed...
"Ratchet, stop! I know it's my fault. If you need to scream at someone then at me!",interfeared Miko, looking at him. The medic grunted, before turning around:" Let me patch Evee up if necessary." Silence fell over them all as Miko, Raf and Jack walked away, giving Evee one last look.

The girl gulped, looking down while Ratchet looked at her for any injuries she might could've gotten due Starscream attacking her. Luckily for her, there wasn't anything besides a small scratch on her cheek from a leaf she smacked out of the way, as she ran back to the Autobotcave.
"You're fine, Evee. The scratch will heal in a few days, it's nothing too serious. You had plenty of luck, if you ask me." Evee nodded and touched the bandage on her cheek, before she jumped down the rock into the water. After some time watching the medic, she decided to speak up:" Ratchet...?"
"What is it."
"Don't be so mad at Miko and the others, please...",she said quietly," I know what they did was wrong, especially what Miko did. And I think they have learned their lesson, by almost being pulled down by this... Knockout-guy. If I wasn't there...those Decepticons would have hostages that you had to go after."

"But whose fault is it then that you got almost taken by Starscream huh?!"
Evee gulped at Ratchet's loud voice, she wasn't used to such voices due her past." It was my fault, Ratchet. Starscream rammed against Bumblebee when he tried to rescue me and Raf. By this sudden impact he lost balance, causing me to fall into the water because I wasn't holding onto something like I should've done." Ratchet stayed silent, looking at the girl.
"If ANYONE is to blame for what happened to me, then it's myself. Not Miko, not Jack, not Raf or Bumblebee. It's MY fault."

Silence washed over the two, only the waves crashing could be heard. Ratchet eyed the young girl infront of him, who had a serious look in her eyes. He had to admit, that she was not someone you should mess with, even when she just was a small and little human girl in her 17s. He didn't answer her, he just turned around and continued to work. Evee watched him for a moment before she swam to the others and sat down on the rock with them." I'm sorry, Evee",said Miko with a sad voice, looking down onto her hands while Jack and Raf sat next to her." Hey, it's okay, it wasn't your fault. Even when we came barely out with our lives",Evee chuckled, trying to lighten up the mood, which clearly helped. 

"But next time Miko, don't do it again",smiled the girl, making the other giggle." Don't worry, I won't." Evee smiled a bit more before she looked back to the forest, hoping Optimus and the others were alright.

Optimus...

She wondered if what Miko said to her was true...

I'm really sorry for the short chapters nowadays, I try to make them longer like the rest of them and publish more. I still hope they are entertaining enough and don't seem rushed.
