🌊Chapter 37🌊

Light emerged from the Matrix Shard, which scared the replicas away. While falling still towards the core, white hands slowly reached for the girl, letting her land on them. Evee woke up eventually, holding her head, only to find herself being alright, cleaned from the negative effects the Dark Energon had on her previously. Staring at the hands she was sitting in, she noticed the replicas of Unicron back up, growling in usion. 

Once turning her head around, she was met with glowing blue eyes. Huge blue eyes.
She took a few seconds to realise it, but when she eventually did, her eyes went wide. 

She was sitting in the hands of Primus. 

Evee couldn't bring out a single word, as she stared at the very creator of this planet and the Merformers. She was saved by him? 
"Fullfill your destiny, young one",spoke Primus up, before turning around to let her free. Evee stared from him down to where the hole was leading to. Cybertron's core. It was near. Swimming away from Primus's hands, who loomed over her like a glowing ball of light, Evee soon came face to face with the core. The Matrix Shard around her neck was pulsing brightly by now compared to before, where she was almost consumed by the Dark Energon and Unicron's replicas. Pulling off the necklace from her neck, Evee hesitated, as she hovered above the large white hole infront of her. She looked back to Primus, who had not left her side. He gave only a small nod to make her continue with what she was tasked to do. Evee took a deep breath, before swimming inside the planets core, connecting the Matrix Shard with it...

Meanwhile, the Autobots, such as Decepticons, were pushed back strong by Unicron's forces, who had not only now hundreds of his replicas, but also revived some of the dead Mers, that were scattered across Cybertron. Arcee, who dodged one of the Undead's attack, yelled out:" We can't keep up for longer!"
Starscream huffed in response at that, before punching away one of Unicron's replicas:" I assume we all do!" But as an attack barely missed him, he screamed like a little girl." Do not falter now! We cannot give up!",yelled Optimus out, destroying one of the replicas aswell, many to follow after. His eyes looked back at the core, where Evee dissapeared into just mere minutes ago.

It couldn't take her that long to connect the Shard to the core, right? Unless...something has happened to her, while Unicron's replicas had followed her down. His eyes narrowed, as he continued to fight off the Undead and replicas, soon having Megatron by his side, who grunted, after being hit in the face by a replica. 

"I must say, Optimus, I never imagined us to fight side by side against the same evil",laughed the Decepticon Leader amused." Me neither, Megatron",replied Optimus, punching away an Undead. But his head jerked back, once he heard a battle cry coming from Unicron behind him. The Prime got tackled and hitted the ground hard." Face it, Follower of Primus!",yelled the Chaos Bringer out, pinning Optimus down on the ground," The human has failed! The Shard is broken! She is gone!" Optimus screamed in rage, punching Unicron away from him.

"You are mistaken, Unicron!",yelled the Prime, standing his ground and recovering from the Chaos Bringer's attack," She is alive! Her life has not faded yet!" The ancient evil gave no second thought replying to the Autobot Leader's words:" Then I will make sure, you will see with your very own eyes, how her spark of life will perish!"
"Not while Energon still flows through my veins!"

Optimus tried attacking Unicron once more, but due to the lack of strength and clear exhaustion he was suffering from, he found himself being in a choke hold by the Chaos Bringer, who eyed him with emotionless eyes, mere seconds later." You have fallen, Follower of Primus. And soon you will follow your dear human to death." 

"I dOn'T tHiNk So!"

To those words, the Chaos Bringer turned around, but not before getting hit by a white beam that sended him into the next best building, far away from Optimus, who recovered from the choke hold, Unicron had on him. Angry about who dared to attack him in the moments of ending the Prime's lineage once and for all, Unicron narrowed his eyes. Only for them to widen, as he saw the very person, he had told Optimus, who he had said to have perished before reaching Cybertron's core

High above Cybertron's core, which was spreading a lominous white-blueish light, was Evee. But instead of her tail, she had her human legs back. Her eyes were glowing a bright white, while behind her was Primus and next to her, the 13 Primes.
"It is time, to meet your demise, Unicron",said the girl together with the Primes, glaring at the Chaos Bringer." I will not be defeated by a mere human!",yelled the ancient evil back, charging at Evee, blinded by rage. The girl simply held up her hand, the Primes by her side following, 14 glowing balls of light forming above them. Once Unicron had reached her, the girl pierced him through the stomach with a spear made of light, glaring at him." That is Prime, to you." With that, she pulled the spear out, before firing, like the other Primes, her ball of light at him, that turned into a white, devastating beam. And not shortly after, Primus fired his attack, ending the Chaos Bringer, who crumbled into mere bits and pieces of stone, that vanished in the water. 
Evee wasted no time to turn around to the Dark Energon crystal, forming the second attack of beams. 

Everyone watched, as she destroyed the Dark Energon crystal, that shattered into millions of pieces, before becoming thin air and dissapearing. Soon, the 13 Primes spread out over the ocean, clearing it from the poison.
Everyone watched, as color returned to the ocean, the sunlight shining through the surface again and the living coming out of their hiding places. 

But once they returned, they became mere balls of lights, that went down the hole to become one with Cybertron's core. Evee turned to Primus, who eyed her." Thank you, young one. Because of you, the Merformer's will live on." Evee smiled slightly, the glowing white in her eyes fading eventually and her tail returned. Primus smiled at the girl, before he too dissapeared into the planets core. A few seconds of silence passed, before the planet came to life, glowing once more the comforting blue light, it used to have. Arcee looked up to the girl, that still stared down into the hole, a smile on her face:" She did it..."

Optimus however, did not waste any time to swim up to her. Evee turned around as she sensed him coming to her, only to be engulfed into a tight hug by the Prime. She hugged him back tightly, closing her eyes, relieved to see him safe. The others swam up to her, while the Decepticon's remained where they were, Megatron looking at the scene. Once the bots were done cheering for the girl, she turned her gaze to the Decepticon Leader. Optimus eyed him also, while being close to his sparkmate. Megatron gave them a simple nods, before turning around and leaving." Starscream",he then said after some time, noticing the seeker did not follow however. Starscream flinched and turned his head back to Megatron, before looking once more to the Autobots, before following his Leader into the depths of the ocean.

"So...what now?",asked Knockout, as some silence engulfed the Team. 
Evee thought for a while, until she smiled....
