MERFORMERS (MY AU)

🌊Chapter 33🌊

The Autobots were currently out on a mission, which left Evee alone with the kids and Ratchet. Ultra Magnus was out patrolling with Smokescreen, Wheeljack, Knockout and Breakdown, who had recently joined the Autobots, after they helped rescuing Evee. 
The said Mermaid was underwater with Ratchet, who was checking on her vitals and how she was adapting to her new life." Do you feel anything? Dizziness? Perhaps a headache?",asked the medic, while Evee moved her tail up and down, her fins moving to the waters movement." No",she said, not taking her eyes off of her tail. Ratchet nodded, noting what Evee had said. Since the girl became a mermaid, a few days had passed. 

Nothing was also heard from MECH anymore, it seemed like Karma bit them finally back for what they had done. The Autobots were on guard in the ocean, but so were the Decepticons. Sure, fights about the currently desperate needed Energon emerged, but as far as from patrolling, Autobots and Decepticons didn't cross ways, which was strange. Did Megatron not care about the change the ocean has made over the weeks and passing days?

Evee was pulled back from her thoughts, as Ratchet spoke up once more:" You are free to go, Evee. And remember what I said-"
"Keep the shard save and no activities that tire me out",cutted the girl the medic off with a smile. Ratchet nodded, a small smile coming aswell over his lips, before he turned back to his monitors and tools. Evee swam out of the cave, sitting down on one of the smaller rocks, that were at the bottom of the tank. With a sigh, she shared at the Matrix shard in her hand. She wore it as a necklace to keep it close to herself. After she got selected as one of the last Primes next to Optimus, who was already a Prime. The Autobot Leader had gotten quite more protective of her lately. But who dosen't blame him. 

The waters were strange, she just became one of them and surely had to struggle with certain things a lot. Which brings Evee's thoughts right away back to Elliot, her boss. She was glad that Agent Fowler managed to convince him, that she was currently out of town for a longer while. Elliot was an understanding man, kind also. He basically was the father Evee never had. Or could have, to say it out loud.

With a sigh, Evee closed her eyes, leaning back against the wall of the tank, listening to the waters sounds around her. Her hair was waving in its movements, while her tail moved up and down in a relaxed way, while her fins seemed to move on their own due to the waters movement. 
She wondered when the Autobots would return from their patrols...

"Hello, my dear." Opening her eyes, she was met with those of a certain Prime. Evee smiled gently, as she moved her tail happily up and down to see Optimus. Seems like he had returned faster then expected. If you consider two hours of being gone fast...
"How was the patrol? Did you found Energon?",asked Evee, directly focused on the necessary things. Optimus answered:" Not much, but enough to survive."
"Any Decepticon activity on the way?",Evee asked next, to which Optimus shook his head." Strange...",said the girl out loud, putting her all too well known thinking face," It's like they dissapeared, just like MECH." Optimus looked into the depths of the water, before looking up, seeing Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead playing around with Miko, Raf and Jack." It could be, that Megatron seems to be slowed down with his plans, due to the waters condition." Evee hummed at that:" Or he might tries to also search for the source. If he dosen't already know or has anything to do with it."

Optimus stared at her. Evee was always a quick thinker, even when she dosen't have witnessed the situation by hand. The Prime is always open for any suggestions, what kind of Leader would he be, if he didn't?

The girl sighed, shaking the Prime out of his thoughts:" I'm just glad you are safe." She smiled gently at him, having her head slightly tilted. She was so beautiful...
Optimus reached up with his hand and gently cupped Evee's cheek, causing the girl to lean into his touch and close her eyes. Sitting down on the rock close to her, Optimus slightly trapped her between him and the wall of the tank. If he wasn't mistaken, Evee began to blush because of this. But her eyes are also looking to the side in a kind of nervous way, which caused him to gently touch her hand, which made her look at him." Do not worry. I won't do anything, you don't like or don't want me to",he reassured her in a gentle tone, which indeed calmed the girl down. Her tail was laying over the Primes, moving slightly up and down in the water, while the said Prime had trapped her between him and the wall, one of his hands on her cheek, the other resting on her hip.

"You really waste no time to steal such private moments...huh Oppi?",smiled Evee, which made the Prime chuckle.
"Always",he whispered, before capturing her lips in a soft and gentle kiss.

The kiss wasn't rushed, it was slow, gentle and soft. Evee's tail moved still gently up and down in the water, while kissing her beloved sparkmate back, the blush on her cheeks spread slightly. She loved those little private moments she was sharing with Optimus, and due to the current circumstances, those are rare. But she hoped for more in the future to come, once everything has settled down.

Evee felt the Prime pulling her closer to him to deepen the kiss, which caused her to sit by now on his lap. She was still very small compared to Optimus, who was, not going to lie, a giant next to her. But she wasn't bothered by that at all.
The both of them broke from the kiss, staring into each others eyes for a short moment, before Optimus pulled her in for a second kiss. Evee's arms were by now around his neck, while his large hands were resting on her back to keep her steady and close. Feeling the girls hands travel down to rest on his shoulders, made him purr slightly in the kiss, which caused Evee to giggle. Breaking from the kiss, the girl leaned her forhead against the Primes chin, still giggling. Optimus smiled gently while keeping her close to him. Seeing her happy made his spark jolt with pure joy....

He moved her forhead away from his chin to kiss it gently, before locking once again eyes with her. Evee smiled gently at him, her arms by now resting on his chest. Optimus pulled her closer so that she was by now in a kind of bridal style in his arms, moving from side to side gently while resting his forhead on hers with closed eyes. He felt his sparkmate caressing his cheek gently, smiling slightly with closed eyes. 
"I..."

"Optimus."

Evee and Optimus opened their eyes and pulled away from each other as they heard Ratchet's voice. Looking up to the medic, the both of them waited for his repsonse." You need to see this."
Swimming up to the taller rock with Ratchet, Optimus and Evee soon broke through the surface to face the monitor, Ratchet was typing on until now." I have now precise information about why the water is so strange in the ocean." Evee and Optimus looked at each other, before the girl spoke up:" Not through human activities, if I'm right."
"No. Not because of humans",said Ratchet, soon showing a picture of a pretty demolished underwater city, which looked dead and lifeless, unable to live in. Optimus tensed, which Evee noticed. Ratchet turned to her:" It's like you said. The cause is something, that is in Cybertron." Turning back to the monitor, the medic typed away on the keyboard, zooming in to Cybertron, to stop only seeing a purpleish light. Smokescreen, just like the rest of the Autobots have gathered around them all by now, spoke up in disbelief:" Wait...is that-" Optimus's eyes darkened as he seemed realize, what that glowing purple light was.

"...Dark Energon."

And yes, another Optimus x Evee scene, I think I just can't get enough of those two xD
