"Murder?" You said as more of a statement than a question. You pressed your back deeper into the doorframe, Boba kept his gaze on you.
"Yeah. Not sure of the details. I'll ask around," He said seemingly reassuring you. He placed a hand on your shoulder and gently squeezed before walking back into his room.
"Hey, wait! I'm coming with you," You said following him into the room that mirrored your own. The same dull colors lined the walls.
"As much as I would love to have your company," He started as he turned to face you, "I need you to stay here, princess."
"I will absolutely not be staying here," You crossed your arms against your chest, "You don't get to tell me what to do."
He chuckled and picked up his helmet from the small desk. He gently placed it at his right side and gave you a grin, the wrinkles on his forehead were increasingly visible.
"Are you always this demanding?" He questioned walking over to you again.
You scoffed, "You know what? I don't even need you anymore. I really appreciate you saving my life and all but I'll be fine on my own. Thanks again!"
You quickly walked back into your room and closed the door. You let out a sigh and looked for your clothes from the day before. You found them and threw them on, not carrying how dirty they were. You had gathered most of your stuff and just started putting on your boots when you were stopped by a knock on the door.
"Hurry up we need to leave soon," Boba's voice called, slightly muffled by the door. You couldn't help but let out a grin. Men are too easy.
"Coming!" You quickly tied up your boots, grabbed your bag, and strapped your sabers to your side. You slid the door open. "You should feel honored I'm coming with you."
"Yes, because there's nowhere I'd rather be than with a Jedi," He said sarcastically. You glared towards him.
"How many times must I tell you, I am not a Jedi." You rolled your eyes stepping through the door and walking past him. You slid his door open, revealing a hallway.
"Whatever you say princess," His modified voice spoke as heavy footsteps followed you out the door.
You made your way out of the inn the heavy footsteps never faulting behind you. A sharp pain of realization hit you as the loneliness struck you. You missed Mando and the kid. You quickly shook the thoughts from your head, you needed to focus on saving him.

As you walk the town, you feel everyone's eyes on the two of you. You start to feel nervous but eased up as Boba put a reassuring hand on your back. You give him a small grateful smile as the two of you continue down the path. You had decided to go back to the cantina and interrogate the woman who had tricked you before.
You walked into the cantina, or what was left. It looked to have been burned by something. Some chairs and tables remained, though others slashed in half. A few bodies were piled on the floor, others had been shot from behind, an indicator they had been trying to run away. It had to have been a lightsaber. You wanted to scream and punch a wall.
Who the kriff went through this much to prevent you from finding out anything? What a disgusting vile creature. Could it have been Ace? Would he have done his own dirty work? You wouldn't put anything past him, and now your blood boiled with even more rage than before.
"Y/n, we should go," You hear Boba's modified voice say firmly. You hadn't even heard his footsteps approaching but you could suddenly feel his hand on your shoulder grasping with the same force as his voice.
You couldn't turn away. You hated the feeling of death, the knowledge that you had caused this. Your blind ignorance had cost people their lives. There were young people here, so many lives cut short because of you.
You were drowning in a guilt that only he could save you from. The waves were pulling you under, leaving you helpless. Your body was incapable of anything except outstretching a desperate hand towards the surface, hoping to be met with his. But his hand never came, and your heart felt empty.
