"I'm going to kriffing kill you Y/n. Where the hell have you been?" She said as she hooked the blaster to her side. She ran down the ramp and embraced you. She smelled good, which was a reminder that you probably smelled revolting, "I'm so glad you're okay, we were really worried."

"It's a long story," You said pulling away from her warmth. You handed her the bag with the supplies you had gathered, "I'm going to have to go back."

"No, no, you can't," She whined, "I'm done babysitting Y/n. Please don't go."

"You're done babysitting when I say so," You told her as you walked up the ramp and approached the child. You picked him up and he cuddled into your arms.

"He only acts like that around you! He hates me Y/n. Like really hates me," She complained as she followed you back onto the ship. She pushed the buttons to close the hatch and it slowly raised up.

"Oh really? You aren't behaving little one?" You questioned with a smile smile looking down at the kid in your arms, "I'm sure you miss your dad."

He gave you a knowing look. He let out a small chirp. You knew he could be mischievous, and you could only imagine the trouble he might have caused for Malia.

"I didn't want to ask, but where is-" Malia started. You gave her a look and it told her everything she needed to know, so she didn't ask further.

"I'm going back to look for him. A bounty hunter got him," You said as you took a seat on the metal floor and placed the child beside you, "He's wanted for murder." You hadn't felt your exhaustion before, but now you could feel the soreness in your legs as you let out a heavy sigh.

"Murder?" She said, the look of shock written all over her face.

"Murder."

"I'm going to shower," You said outstretching your arm to Malia who stood looking down, "Help me up."

She outstretched her hand and grasped it in yours tightly. She struggled to pull your heavy body off the ground, and you were of no help.

"Can you at least try to put in some effort," She exhaled, continuously pulling at your now sore arm.

"Just drag me," You muttered, your eyes were starting to close now, "Actually, just bring me a pillow I'm done."

She let go of your arm and you heard her walk away. Sleep welcomed you and you felt relief as you fell into its grasp.

---------

A loud bang startled you from your sleep, someone was shaking you and trying to say something. You had no recollection of falling asleep on the metal floor, but you were pleasantly surprised to feel a pillow beneath your head and a blanket tightly wrapped around you. Your eyes struggled to open.

"Y/N, kriff please wake up," The voice spoke still shaking you.

You tried to speak but your mouth was dry. Your eyes finally opened, you saw Malia in a state of panic. You sat up and looked around. You remembered where you were now.

"Someone's here," Malia pointed to the hatch of the ship. It was still sealed shut but you could hear someone throwing something at it.

"What a wonderful way to wake up," You sat up and found yourself in your same clothes from the day before. You had managed to fall asleep with two lightsabers strapped at your waist, which left an uncomfortable soreness. The kink in your neck was prominent and you were hyper-aware of the soreness in your back. You regretted your decision to fall asleep on the floor.

You managed to stand up and all the pain seemed to double, you cursed under your breath. "Take the child and hide in the storage room. Do not leave until I come get you."

You walked over to the hatch and made sure your lightsabers were secure and ready. You pressed the buttons to lower it, and it let out a unfriendly creak. Your heart raced and your hands were gripping the hilt of your sabers in hopes to ease some anxiety.

"Drop your weapons," you commanded as the hatch continued to lower. When it finally dropped you were met with a woman in a suit similar to Mando's and Boba's.

"You're Y/N, right?" She spoke. One of her hands was grabbing a helmet, and the other at her waist.

"And who are you?" You questioned, your hands still gripping your sabers.

"Bo-Katan. We need to talk about the Mandalorian"

At the mention of him your heart started racing. Your already high level of anxiety now skyrocketed. Questions flooded your mind and you began to feel overwhelmed.

"M-mando?" You let out in a small whisper she must not have picked up on.

"Look kid, I don't have all day here. You want to know what happened or not?" She started walking towards the ship, and you put up a hand signaling her to stop.

"Yes, but we talk out here," You said as you walked off the ramp.

You now stood outside the ship, completely exposed. You were still on high alert and this stranger did nothing to ease your worry.

"How do you know me?" You started, trying to steady your voice, "Or better yet, how do you know the Mandalorian?"

"I'm the one who took him," She stated calmly, and at that you pounced. You tackled her to the ground and withdrew one of your sabers, aiming it right at her throat.

The sun was barely rising and the light from your saber lit up both your faces. She wore a smirk, and immediately you knew something was wrong. You heard a twig snap, and it was already too late.
