You got back to the village and looked around. You exchanged polite smiles with the locals, giving a few waves to the children. You just walked past the armory hut, when someone grabbed your waist and pulled you in. You were going to scream, but they moved one of their hands off your waist and placed it over your mouth.
You tried to squirm out of their grasp, but they pulled you against them. Their chest was rock solid. You stopped squirming and turned your head up to look at the masked man. He let you out of his grasp and removed the hand from your mouth.
"You know there are better ways to do get my attent-" You started.
"Did I say you could speak?" Mando cut you off. Your eyes widened. "You think you can go and kiss whoever you want? Hmm?" You suddenly felt so small, so you chose not to look up at him. You shook your head. "Use your words." This time, you looked up.
"Gross, let me go you bastard." You said trying to control yourself from beating the shit out of him, "Besides, why do you even care? You don't kriffing own me. I train your kid and you suddenly think I'm what? Your property?" You rolled your eyes and he roughly grabbed your face, forcing you to look at him.
"Maybe you don't understand Y/N," You couldn't explain it, but you heard the smirk on his face. "But, I want you to myself." Each of his words were emphasized and slow. He removed his grip from your face and walked away. You were too shocked to move.

You spent the next hour training with the child. You were trying your best to distract yourself from the seemingly endless day. The kiss with Cara was enough to completely overwhelm you but added along with whatever the hell was happening between you and Mando, you were left drained.
Like you, he was much more focused on other things. And like usual, you made almost no progress. You were frustrated and wished he would just listen to you. If he wouldn't listen to you, who would he listen to? Mando. But you couldn't exactly ask him to help you out right now. You would just have to wait for tensions to die down.
You were the first to notice the change in the atmosphere. The feelings of uneasiness and restlessness became all too present. You could tell the kid felt it too. The curiosity in his eyes seemed to die down. Something bad was going to happen. You walked towards the main part of the village and saw the back of Mando talking with a woman.
You felt a pang of jealousy. You couldn't deny that she was pretty. The front pieces of her dark hair were loosely tied back. You frowned and looked down at the child in your arms. He kept his eyes focused on his dad. You saw the woman reach for his helmet, and you froze. Was he going to take it off for her? You felt sick but couldn't look away. You sighed as he removed her hands from his helmet. He turned around and you could sense he was looking at you. You motioned for him to walk over, and he obliged.
The child cooed as he saw his father drawing near. "Something bad is going to happen." You told him, your voice laced with a sense of anger. You weren't going to let him live down his actions of that morning anytime soon.
"As in, what? The monsters?" He looked down and you couldn't tell if it was at the child or you. You held out the kid for him to take in his arms. He gently grabbed him.
"Yes, I sense that they are near. It's almost nightfall, we need to prepare the village." You crossed your arms. You had the desire to hit the man, you were infuriated with him.
"Okay. Let me talk with Cara and we'll prepare the villagers." He gave you a nod of goodbye and walked away. He had left you out of the plan, which only added to your level of anger.
