You landed on a speeder a few feet below the landing dock, thankful you had the force on your side. There wasn't a roof so you hopped in the back seat. The driver looked at you in awe, and you smiled at him. He raised his blaster and you used two fingers to gently lower it with the force.
"No need for that," You said simply. "I won't be long, they should be here soon." You said turning your head around to look at the passing ships.
"H-how?" The older man said with a stutter. He had his eyes off the sky and almost collided with another ship.
"No time for questions, watch the sky," You looked back at him and motioned for him to face forward. "Any second now."
You heard the sound of the scout troopers' speeders. You turned your head back around quickly. You saw 3 of them approaching and frowned. You drew your blaster and started shooting at them. They kept dodging your shots. Traffic was heavy, and you didn't want to misfire and hit someone else in the process.
As they came closer, an idea struck you. You put your blaster away. "Thanks for the ride," You said giving the man a quick salute with two fingers. You looked at the cruiser next to you, but down a bit, and hopped in.
"Hello there." You greeted your new driver. This time, two men sat in the front. The backseats were open again, allowing you a spot.
The man in the passenger seat drew his blaster, and you once again lowered it with your two fingers in a downwards motion. "Get out," The driver spat at you, turning around to get a better look.
"I'm kind of busy here," You retorted as you looked over your shoulder. You didn't see any sign of the scouts. You were quickly proven wrong when you saw one zig-zagging between ships towards you.
"You're going to get us killed!" The passenger yelled at you, his eyes wide with fear.
"As if," You muttered, standing up on the seat. You withdrew your blaster and started firing at the trooper.
He eventually made his way to the side of the cruiser. You looked at the masked soldier and smirked. You quickly put away your blaster. His speeder kept nudging into yours, and the two men were screaming. When he got close enough, you force-pushed him off his speeder, and he fell below. You put your hands on the handlebars and took control of the speeder.
"Thanks for the ride!" You yelled looking over to the two men in the cruiser next to you, looking at you as though you were insane, which you probably were.
You sped up and started making your way down towards the ground. You did your best to lose the last 2 troopers, making sure to zig-zag around the other ships.
You sighed as you heard them approaching. "Kriff." You mumbled to yourself, leaning forward and speeding up more. You were at top speed, but so were they.
They were right behind you, you drew your blaster and started firing at the scouts. You aimed for the bike, rather than them. You hit the front of the nearest one, and it blew up. The explosion was violent and knocked out his friend as well. You watched as both of the pieces of their speeders fell towards the ground.
You grinned as you refocused your attention to the sky in front of you. You had looked just in time as there was a large cruiser in front of you. You kept going lower until you broke through the layer of clouds. You began to see the lower level of the city.
Memories of your childhood flooded back to you, but you quickly pushed them away. You had to come up with somewhere to hide and wait for Mando, and it had to be quick.
You saw a landing port and quickly flew over. When you got to the dock, you made a rough landing, causing a few people to give you strange looks. Maybe it was the fact you were on an imperial speeder, or if you just looked insane, you weren't sure. You guaranteed your wind-blown hair only added to the look.
