After you left Mando in your room, you headed to the lavatory for a shower. You took your sweet time, not caring about the large amounts of water you were wasting. You got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around yourself. You quickly made your way back to your room. The armor on your floor was gone.
You tied your wet hair up in a towel. You looked on the shelves of your room for something to wear. You sighed, realizing you were almost out of clean clothes. As you looked under a few tops, you found a loose tan dress. You hadn't worn it in forever, and when you put it on, you were reminded how comfortable it was. You tied up the matching tan belt in a small bow.
You took your hair out from the towel. You didn't really know what to do since you didn't have any hair products, so you just frowned. You decided to put it in a loose and low bun. You cleaned up your room a bit, fixing your cot Mando messed up.
You heard a knock on the door. "Come in." You said raising your voice. You weren't sure how thick the walls were. The door slid open, and Mando stood there.
"We're about to descend, you might want to come up to the cockpit soon." He said before turning around and leaving.
"Back to his Mando-y self, I see." You thought to yourself as you rolled your eyes.
You walked to the cockpit to find the child asleep in his seat. You took a seat next to Mando and strapped in. You took your first look at the planet you were heading to, "You're kidding." You muttered, "We're going to kriffing Tatooine."
"Is there a problem? My bounty is here." He told you, his mask focused on the dry planet ahead.
"No, no problem at all." You muttered.
-
You landed just outside of the town. The suns were almost set now. The shadow of a frown remained as you stepped off the ship and the dry air hit you, "I hate sand." You said loudly.
"Let's go, we need to make this quick," Mando said ignoring your complaint. He had chosen to leave the child on the ship, which you didn't think to be the best idea, even if he was with some lady who seemed nice.
"Is it even safe for you to be here with all the troopers?" You questioned as you followed him around the town. You kept your head down, trying not to see anybody you knew.
"Y/N?" A familiar voice called out. You froze in your tracks, and Mando stopped too.
"Kriff." You muttered, as you looked up and saw the brown-haired man. He hadn't changed much since you last saw him, he was still attractive. His hair was poofy and his eyes dark. "Kham, long time no see." You said with a fake smile.
Kham moved in for a hug, his arms wrapped tightly around you. Your arms stayed at your side, making him feel awkward and quickly pulling away.
"You look good." He said looking you up and down. You covered your chests with your arms. "Ah, who's your friend?" He looked around you at Mando.
"None of your concern." You told him blatantly.
"There's the Y/N I missed." He said with a grin.
