As soon as you stepped out of the lavatory, you were met with Mando standing there. Did this man really not have anything better to do than stand around waiting for you?
"Come on, we're getting out of here," Mando said starting to walk towards the cockpit.
"Let me go change." You said as you scurried to your room clutching the towel that wrapped around your body.
"Make it quick." He called out.
You quickly put on a white top that wrapped around your body and attached it at the neck. It left a bit of your core exposed. Next, you put on loose black pants. You slipped your boots back on. You hurried out of your room and walked down the hall. You attached your blaster at your side.
"Where are we going?" You said joining him in the cockpit.
"Cloud City." He spoke setting the child in his seat, then taking his own.
"Really? Of all places, why there?" You groaned as you took a seat and strapped in.
"I thought you'd be a bit more enthusiastic, it's supposedly breathtaking," He said as he started up the ship.
"I think I'd prefer to keep my breath." You sighed as you sunk lower into your chair.
He pulled the ship off the ground before he spoke again, "More people from your past, huh?"
"Is it that obvious?" You said with a yawn. He didn't reply, so you took that as a goodnight. You shut your eyes and drifted away as sleep pulled you into its embrace.
-
"We're here," Mando spoke, startling you out of your sleep. You groaned, he apparently wasn't good at waking people up.
You yawned and stretched out your arms. You cracked your neck and twisted your back. The loud cracking made Mando turn and look at you. You gave him a shrug.
As you came out of the clouds, you saw the city. It was as spectacular as ever. The large white saucer-like building caught your eye. You saw the platform and Mando landed roughly.
"Never a smooth landing with you." You said letting out a loud exhale through your nose. He ignored you and shut off the ship. Mando grabbed the child and walked out of the cockpit.
You unstrapped your belt and followed him. He had put the child in the carrier and closed it. You trailed behind him as he exited the ship. You were greeted with the familiar face of Lando Calrissian. You mentally prepared yourself for the encounter.
"Ah the Mandalorian, they've been expecting you." Lando's voice rang through your ears. You stood behind Mando, hoping to escape Lando's vision. "Oh? And you brought a friend."
Mando stepped aside, and you made eye contact with Lando. You gave him a shy smile and a wave, hoping he might have forgotten you since the last time you spoke.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Y/N L/N. How long has it been darling? You've grown more beautiful than I thought possible." Lando said as he stepped closer to you and took your hand in his. He brought your hand to his lips and kissed it.
"You flatter me, Lando. It's good to see you." You said politely. He let go of your hand.
You had never been very fond of this man, he always creeped you out. Every woman he encountered seemed to be viewed as nothing more than a conquest to him.
"You travel with a Mandalorian now?" He said giving you a look of shock.
"It's quite a long story," You replied, returning his intense.
