Midoriya's POV
I was more worried about Todo coming over than I should have been. I knew that. But there was still this nagging in the back of my head that no matter how hard I tried it just wouldn't go away.
The doorbell rang and I went to get it, taking in a deep breath to prepare myself before opening the door. Something I would never admit out loud was the way that Todo's scent immediately calmed me the second I opened the door. It was a nice mix of mint and campfire and if I could I'd just smell it all day.
Ok, brain, focus, I can't just stand here. "H-hey Todo." Why do I have to stutter!? I smiled shyly up at him.
He returned the small smile. "Thank you for having me," he said with a small bow.
"Oh, Todoroki!" I heard my mom say from behind me. "I'm so glad you could make it!" She exclaimed happily as she came to greet the alpha. "You should invite him in, Izuku, he is your guest after all." Mom patted my shoulders taking me out of the small daze my brain had fallen into.
"R-right sorry! Umm come in, come in," I told Todo. I moved out of the doorway, nearly tripping over a shoe but catching myself on the wall.
"It's fine, thank you," Todo said with a small reassuring smile as he stepped into the house.
"Why don't you show young Todoroki your room, I'll have dinner ready in about 20 minutes," mom said with a smile.
My room? Do I have to show him my room? I don't know how I felt about that, it's not like I didn't trust him, because he's proved that he's not someone to do anything to me without permission, but that nagging was getting louder at the thought of being alone with him in my room. "U-Uhh y-yeah, sure," I managed to say.
"Oh, and your dad should be home soon so expect a visit from him, and don't forget to keep the door open Izuku," she said with a bright smile before turning to leave.
"M-mom!" I called, my face turning a bright red. She didn't seem to care how flustered she had made me from the comment and continued to the kitchen. I turned to Todo, he was watching with an amused expression. I've learned that he likes seeing me flustered, though I'm not sure why, I think my face looks ugly when all red. "I- my rooms upstairs," I told him, turning my back so he couldn't see my flushed face.
"Lead the way," he told me. I could hear a smirk in his voice and honest to god I didn't know how I would be able to handle looking his way while that smirk was still there. It's so sharp it could kill me, and I'm not even sure if I'd be mad if that's what kills me.
I lead him up to my room. I had made sure to clean it before he came considering I didn't think I could get away with us staying downstairs the whole time. I went to my bed, picking up the folded sweater that he had leant me and held it out to him. "I-I'm sorry it sort of smells like me now," I muttered, looking down as he took it. "I tried washing it."
"That's ok," he said simply. "I like your scent anyway."
I could feel my face flush a dark red. My scent was a mix of dark chocolate and pine, I always thought it was a weird mix so hearing someone say they liked it made me very flustered. "Y-you can't just say stuff like that," I whined, hiding my face in my hands.
He just chuckled. "And why not?" I couldn't tell if that was a serious question or part of his playful banter.
"I-it's embarrassing," I muttered, not raising my face from my hands. "I-just saying you like my scent like that."
He hummed a little and I felt one of his hands brush through my hair. "But it's true," he said placing a small kiss on the top of my head where he had brushed my hair to the side. "The chocolate mixes nicely with the pine," he muttered softly.
