Summer's first day outfit.
... It was 8am on a Monday morning Summer made her way to her new job with the FBI's behavioural analysis unit. To say she was busting at the seams with excitement and nerves would be an understatement, she had worked in Interpol a few years back which is where she met Emily Prentiss they worked closely together a few times but Emily also completed Summer's initiation into Interpol. Summer still couldn't wrap her head around the fact that Emily had called her to be apart of this team, Summer was working in the crimes against women and children unit, where she really made a name for herself.
Arriving at FBI headquarters she quickly headed inside and made her way to the elevator pressing the number 6 it was a short ride up but that's when Summer was hit completely in the face with nerves that made her stomach turn she quickly reached for her arm and tried to scratch, her jacket and long sleeve top breaking the connection between her nails and her arm. She quickly stepped off of the elevator and stood in-front of those big glass doors, she took one more deep breath and walked in through those very doors. Summer looked around in awe of this place they call the bullpen, she was expecting to see the team of profilers Emily had described on the phone but they were no where to be found. Emily had also mentioned the Summer would be starting with another agent and a tech assistant making it three new members of this incredible team they call the BAU.
Summer saw a tall buff man with dark blonde hair and blue eyes talking to a shorter man with black hair and dark brown eyes. They both looked just as lost and out of place as she did so she made her way over to the men to introduce herself, "Hi, I am SSA Summer Flint it's nice to see some other people looking just as lost as I do" she smiled. The blonde man looked at her and chuckled "Hey, I am SSA Chase Grey and I am guessing it's your first day as well?" she nodded with a polite smile the other man looked her and put out his hand to shake it "Hi, I am agent Bryan Harper, I am a technical analyst assistant and you have a lovely Australian accent" she shook his hand in return and said "Yes, I moved to the states around 9 years ago now but the accent seems to have stuck with me". The three started chatting amongst themselves, forming that first day new kids on the block bond to ease each other's first day jitters. Suddenly out came Emily from a room up the stairs at the end of the bullpen, she smiled at the sight of her three new team members "Agents we are ready for you".
The three agents made their way up the small set of stairs and followed her into what she called the round table room. There sat 6 other agents sitting at the table all of them looked happy and excited to see their new team members, but Summer couldn't help but notice a man with mousey brown hair and coffee coloured eyes staring right at her. Pulling her out of her daze "Oh my god, Summer!!" Summer turn to the man speaking to her which was none other then Luke Alvez "Summer, it's been awhile" she smiled excitedly recognising the man she worked with when she was completing temporary duty with the fugitive task force "Luke, hey wow Emily didn't tell me you were at the BAU" he pulled her in for a friendly hug they had worked some hard cases together during that time that stuck with them for a while after closing.
