Summer's outfit ...
Summer awoke to a pounding head and the sound of her phone ringing it was 10am and thank god it was Saturday, she was praying that it wasn't an urgent call in for a case. She looked at her phone and it was Bryan, she looked around the room taking in her surroundings and the man laying asleep next to her memories of last nights events came flooding back to her. She quickly answered the phone "Bryan, ah hey" she said with a groggy tone "Summer did you get home ok last night? I am absolutely wrecked" said Bryan "Yeah I got back fine, oh don't worry I am feeling it too" she said letting out a half laugh. "Hey, do you wanna hang out later, I could come over and we will get a pizza?" Bryan asked "Yeah that sounds great, I will talk you then" Summer said as she was about to hang up in the background Spencer was waking up "Morning Summer" ... "Oh my god, Summer did you go home with someone last night" Bryan said excitingly "Ok bye Bryan" Summer said laughing and hanging up as quickly as possible.
Summer out her phone down and rolled back over facing Spencer "Good morning Spence" she said softly with a smile. "Last night was ah.. really something" He said moving her hair out of her face. Summer smiled "Yeah it was, so, what does this mean for us, like at work?" she said anxiously "I don't know right now Summer, but I think it's best if no one knows" Spencer sighed, Summer knew that if she was being honest with herself she didn't really know what this meant either, the feelings are there but she doesn't think either of them are ready to take that leap yet. "Yeah I agree" She said sitting up in the bed "Hey I am probably going to head back home, I have got some things to do and Bryan wants to hangout later" Summer said getting up and out of bed "Oh ok no worries.." Spencer said slightly disappointed.
Summer got in a cab and went back to her place she took off Spencer's shirt and got in the shower, she didn't know why but she felt sad by the fact that last night didn't really get her any further along with Spencer. Each day she can feel these feelings getting stronger and stronger and she doesn't know if she can keep them under wraps any longer but the thought of another relationship where she gives her all and might not get it in return scares the shit out of her. She hops of of the shower drying her hair and changing into a grey sweatpants a calvin crop and a cardigan. She thought maybe she should text Spencer before Bryan gets here.
Summer - Hey Spence, I really did have a good night with you. Thanks for letting me stay x
Summer hesitated but pressed send. She didn't think he would bother replying to her but her phone lit up within minutes.
Spencer - No worries Summer I had a good time also. See you on Monday x
Summer heard a knock at her door, she checks her peep hole and it's Bryan she unlocks the door not even opening it before he barges right in "You need to tell me everything now" Bryan chuckled "So who was the lucky guy" Summer blushed slightly knowing she had agreed to not saying anything but knew she couldn't lie to Bryan she trusted him enough to have it not leave this room "Spencer" she said awkwardly, Bryan's mouth opened in surprise "You slept with Reid? Like actually had sex with him?" He said eager for answers, Summer looked to the floor "Yes we had sex" she said "Was he any good?" Bryan asked "Really good" Summer laughed "But we agreed not to tell anyone so promise me you won't tell anyone not even Chase" She stared at him seriously "Summer you know I won't tell anyone" he said grabbing her hand "Your secret is safe with me" he said with a comforting look, Summer smiled "Thanks" she said "So what does that mean for the two of you" He asked getting a menu off the fridge, she looked up at him and said "I don't know neither of us know what to do now" he looked at Summer and said "I think there's something there but it's completely ok to not know right now you were both drunk anyway the sober reality is enough to make you run and hide" he chuckled.
They hung out for hours as they usually would talking about everything and anything, they even had Chase come over for dinner. The three of them really took to each other being the newbies on a team like BAU was daunting enough so it was nice to have others to share the experience with. They all watched a movie and headed back home, Summer went to her bathroom brushed her teeth and went to bed she laid in bed not being able to shake the thought of Spencer hoping maybe just maybe he was thinking about her as well.
