Summer's outfit

Summer let out a deep sigh bringing her eyes up to Spencer's "What about Cassie?" she asked not really wanting to hear the answer to that question. He sat down on the bed next to her "What went so wrong? Why do you think she didn't think you were that something?" there was a brief silence between them both Summer crossed her arms in front of her body "Because I wasn't, no matter what I did, how hard I tried and I did try so hard everyday I just wasn't enough" Summer began to feel tears build in her eyes, tears that she had held back for so many years. Spencer raised his hand placing it on her shoulder "I am sorry Summer, I didn't meant to..." Summer shrugged his hand off "It's fine, I am not upset, it's just.. I have put these feelings off for a long time and when you asked I guess it all just came flooding back" she responded getting up off the bed and walking towards the window.

She stood at the window looking out into the dark night and the bright lights of the city. Spencer cleared his throat awkwardly trying to gain her attention "Do you love her Summer?" she turned to face Spencer looking directly at him and said "No I don't love her not anymore, I feel a lot of things about the time I spent with her though, anyway was there anything else that brought you here tonight? I am kind of wrecked after today" Spencer looked disappointed wishing he had another reason to spend more time with her "Uhm..no that's it I guess.. Yeah I am pretty tired to I guess I will go.. Sleep well Summer" he gets up and leaves the room closing the door softly behind him.

Summer takes her robe off and gets into bed, making herself comfortable her head flooded with thoughts. For about a year after she had ended her relationship with Cassie Summer threw herself at people for validation sleeping with anyone to feel something these painful thoughts ran through her mind on loop until finally sleep took over.

It was a new day Summer pulling on her black dress pants and placing her cream vest over her white dress shirt she finished her make up just light and natural and moved her hair into a middle part. Summer made her way out the door and into the elevator she met with the rest of the team in the lobby. Everyone piled out of the hotel and into the two SUVs Summer, Chase, Tara and Luke in one and Emily, Spencer, Rossi and JJ in the other.

They arrive at the precinct to be greeted by detective Wyatt "There's been another murder" he grunted "ANOTHER DAMN MURDER" he stated again loudly causing Chase to speak up "Hey don't raise your voice at us detective" he gave detective Wyatt a stern look and sat at the table "I invite the FBI out here to work my case and we end up with another body" the angry detective stated. Rossi looked the detective up and down and said "It's nobody's fault detective, we are doing the best we can" detective Wyatt looked at Rossi and was about to speak when Summer interrupted him "Detective Wyatt, why don't you take me down to the latest crime scene and I will check it out for you" Spencer shot her a look as if he was saying what the hell are you doing she looked at him and mouthed "Don't worry about it" the detective turned to Summer with a disgusting smirk on his face "Wow pretty and efficient, it would be my pleasure to take you" he turned around Summer rolled her eyes so far in the back of her head she swear she saw her brain.

Summer walked out of the meeting room before detective Wyatt he turned to the rest of the team and said "Don't worry guys, I will make sure I bring her back in one piece" he winked and chuckled to himself within a matter of minutes someone was grabbing him by the wrist it was Luke "You try anything with her... let's just say when Summer shoots she doesn't miss" he said firmly letting go of the detectives wrists the detective gulped and rearranged his tie and walked out of the room. Luke and Summer had been through a lot together during their fugitive days he knew she could hold her own and she knew he would always have her back. The door shuts behind the detective the team gather around the table "That man repulses me" Tara scoffed "Poor Summer taking one for the team" JJ added "Summer can hold her own, I'd be more worried about the detective if he tries anything" Luke stated sipping his coffee.

Summer and detective Wyatt made it to the latest crime scene after what felt like hours in the car which was spent listening to Wyatt flexing all his achievements and showing Summer this weird flicking thing with his tongue which she was really repulsed by. They stepped out of the car and made their way to the crime scene Wyatt held the yellow tape up for Summer to go under first what a gentlemen Summer thought sarcastically to herself. The crime scene was much the same as the others the unsub was consistent and precise never left a thing different to the previous scenes, they didn't gain much from coming here. On the car ride back to the precinct Wyatt questioned Summer "Did you get anything from that?" Summer kept looking out the window "Not really the unsub has a pattern that he is sticking too he doesn't show any will to change that" Wyatt kept his eyes on the road "What about the victim?" Summer looked at him "The unsub has a type, someone that looks like this has hurt him in the past it's called a stressor and now these women are his surrogates".

They arrived back at the precinct both walking in Summer went to the coffee machine and fixed herself a cup of liquid gold to pull herself through the rest of the day as she was making her coffee she didn't realise Spencer approaching her "Hey Summer, you're back, did you find anything at the crime scene" Summer looked up once hearing that familiar voice "No unfortunately, it was exactly the same as the last 4 our guy is precise he has a strong pattern that he is sticking too" they both turned and starting walking to the meeting room "How was the trip with Wyatt" Summer chuckled "That man is disgusting". They both walk into the meeting room Garcia and Bryan were on speaker phone sharing some information about our unsub which has lead us to a convincing lead.
