Summer's outfit

Summer could not pay attention to the case being presented in front of her right now by Penelope and Bryan, she had completely zoned out. "What do you think Summer?" asked Rossi everyone turned to Summer who was so obviously not present in the moment. Snapping out of her daze she shook her head slightly "Um I think I will need to look into the victimology a bit more" she said looking down at the file "Great, that means you and Reid can work on that as well as the geographical profile, it's a home case we will also need to consult with counter terrorism on this one as the unsub is targeting big areas to let the bombs off" Emily said. "So there could be an element of terror there?" JJ said "That's what I am thinking" Emily said. "Luke, JJ you'll both go to the first bombing site, Tara and Chase you'll go speak to two of the survivors from the second bombing and Rossi and I will go speak with the officers in those areas. Summer and Reid like I said will work on victimology and geographical profile please utilise the resources given to you it's not everyday we get another fbi unit working along side us" Emily said Summer rolled her eyes she knew counter terrorism meant Heather Mars.

The team divided off to complete their allocated task, Summer and Spencer stayed in the round table room setting up a victim board and a board for the geographical profile. Summer had her back turned to the door sticking up some photos of the victims, well, what could be salvaged of them she heard a knock on the door and the door opening "Hi guyssssss...Looks like we are working a case together. This will be fun" Heather said waltzing in sitting down next to Spencer who was working on the map Summer didn't even bother to turn around she knew if she did she'd be tempted to be petty and now wasn't the time for it. "I wouldn't say working a case together more like we are using counter terrorism as a resource to build our profile" Summer said not being able to help herself, Spencer secretly chuckling.

"Well, you can always put me to work Doctor" Heather said winking at Spencer while sliding her foot up his leg. This clearly made Spencer uncomfortable as he got up straight away and took his map over to the board next to Summer. "Look at this. All the locations are going in almost a figure 8 if I am right I would say the unsub is making a figure 8" Spencer said looking at Summer "A figure 8? Like the infinity symbol?" Summer question "Oh my god Summer yes!! Like the infinity symbol, I was trying to figure out what the 8 could represent but that has to be it" Spencer said. "So now you guys have finished your little task, Spencer do you have some time to hangout" Heather questioned. "Um I don't know if you have realised but we have a mentally unstable bomber on the loose surely you can wait to chat Spencer up? Summer said internally face palming herself she's supposed to not care about what Spencer does especially after last nights events with Chase. Heather looked Summer up and down and said "You've won this round Summer" and walked out of the room.

"You've won this round? What's that supposed to mean?" Spencer asked. "Oh I don't know she set up a challenge that I was not engaging in saying she'll win you or something" Summer said fumbling through her bag for her phone to call Emily. "A challenge? Is this why you slept with Chase last night? You thought she had won?" Spencer said turning to face Summer "Well no, that..that was honestly a mistake that we both woke up crying over and apologising. I guess we got way too drunk and yeah I guess I was really hurt about how things ended with us" Summer said. "A mistake? So you don't have feelings for Chase?" He asked "No Reid, I don't" Summer said he hated when she called him Reid because that was what everyone called him and she wasn't just anyone to him. "Well I can assure you it won't be going much further with Heather, she's..ah too much" Spencer said forcing a smile "That's nice to know, she'd ruin you" Summer said "Not as much as you would" He said with a dirty smirk on his face, it was then Summer realised he was talking about her in a sexual sense which she then rolled her eyes at.

The team had returned Spencer and Summer let them all know about the infinity symbol theory they had come up with. JJ and Luke didn't get much from the first crime scene it was a wreck and Chase and Tara found that the same girl was always a survivor from all attacks. "This girl it must be about her?" JJ said to the room of profilers "She's the only one that has survived all bombings" Tara said. "I will go see Garcia and Bryan and get them to run a background on her" Summer said. She walked down to the cave and entered. "Hello my beautiful ray of sunshine" said Garcia "Hey Sum, what do you have for us?" Bryan asked. "I need you to do a background on a girl called Brianna Worthing, she's a survivor of all the bombings so far" Summer said "No worries, we will bring the information back to the team once we get it. "Thanks guys. See you soon" Summer said exiting their office.

Summer was making her way back to the round table room when suddenly she was approached by Heather "Summer, fancy seeing you here and not out fighting crime" she said with a chuckle "Crazy because I do work here" Summer said rolling her eyes. "I don't know why Spencer likes you so much, you're nothing very special anyway" Heather said "I guess each to their own" Summer said "He told me he didn't want to see me anymore. I guess you're to blame for that" Heather stated. "Not that I know of" Summer said. Heather grabbed Summer's arm "Don't lie to me Summer, I don't like being lied too" Heather said "Don't grab me like that Heather, I don't like being touched like that" Summer said smiling. Heather let go "Just remember Summer I always win" she said walking away Summer rolled her eyes and continued making her way to the round table room.
