Year 1: Careful You're On A Landmine

Part 1

Wonder Woman had already gathered some of the justice league members at the watchtower in space. Cyborg, Green Lantern, Shazam, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Flash, and Roy Harper (Red Arrow) were all in attendance for the meeting.

"As you all already know Superman's parents were taken hostage by Mirror Master. However we have not able to track his exact location, they are trying to blackmail superman into giving up on his cause and we won't allow that." wonder woman said. Everyone in the room looked at one another unsure of what to say, some with a face of conviction but others unsure

"Are we sure this is the best thing to do? I mean Superman kinda is forcing people to listen to him." Shazam said breaking the ice "I mean I get it Superman is trying to do the right thing but I just don't know if this is the best way to do it. It seems he is acting out of grief, as most of us would."

"I know how you feel Shazam. We all know that there are heroes that should be standing here with us that are not. We are all grieving the loses of friends and family. But superman has not, he has been working tirelessly to make sure something like that never happens again. So are you in or not?". The members stayed quiet until the cyborg stepped up

"I'm in. and we all should be in as well. Superman has always been there for every one of us. It is only right that we do the same when he needs us." With that speech of conviction, the rest of the members seemed to agree and decided to help Superman.

Wonder Woman began to explain that they needed to go and find every single villain that was even remotely close to Mirror Master and get the information they need to find him "by any means necessary".

The members broke off into pairs going to every villain they knew and interrogating them with viciousness. The members would beat the villains to a pulp before even beginning to question them. The league displayed a never-before-seen act of ruthlessness in their approach to finding where Mirror Master was. Villains like Calendar man and Captain Boomerang were left unconscious near death. Each hero going from location to location before finally getting his location from Captain Cold. Mirror Master was in a bar enjoying the evening. Immediately flash zoomed to his location catching off guard and forcing him to tell him where he is.

However he refused to talk, that was until wonder woman showed up and put that last of truth on him forcing him to spill Superman's parent's location.

"They're in an underground bunker in Bolivia," he said grinding his teeth.

"Clark we got their location they're in an underground bunker in Bolivia, Flash will meet you there," wonder woman said. In a matter of seconds, both Flash and Superman had arrived at the location and with ease, Superman walked in destroyed the bunker, and took his parents back home. The guards there could only watch as superman flew away.

Part 2

 Meanwhile, Wonder Woman had gone down to a village in Africa to stop a group of militia from terrorizing the villagers making quick work of them and saving the village as well as the people. The people thanked Wonder Woman for her actions, they were blessed to have someone step up to help them. As she flew away she saw a familiar figure down on the ground alone in the desert, she flew down and saw it was Ares, the God of War.

"You left Theymyscira as an ambassador and now you go around from village to village forcing people into submission." spoke Ares.

"Sometimes peace needs to be fought for" replied Wonder Woman.

"Of course."

"What do you want Ares?"

"For now...nothing. I just want to observe this war of superhumans vs humans. It is quite interesting I've never in all my years seen something quite like this."
