Year 1: Batman Vs Superman

Clark immediately flew back to Gotham City after finding out that the US government had been used as a distraction. He flew down to the entrance of the Batcave where Wonder Woman waited for him, she was standing in front of Batman "What's the meaning of this Bruce!" Clark demanded.

"You've crossed a line Clark. All of you have."

"What are you talking about?"

"You've forced this world into submission."

"They chose to join me. I didn't force anyone to join my cause."

"You offered that deal at the end of a gun barrel. You never gave them a fair chance. Playing off their emotions and fear."

"You told me a while ago that I was no god to tell people what to do. Yet you today are doing the exact thing you would condemn. Oh the irony."

"Why are you here clark."

"The trap you set for me. Why?"

"I don't know what you are talking about."

"STOP. LYIIING. BRUCE. Now tell me what are you planning!"

"This conversation is over."

"You can't walk away from this." Diana stated.

"You're right, but I sure can fly away." Bruce said flying off and for a second leaving Clark and Diana utterly perplexed before they quickly catching on what was going on and followed Johnz catching up to him.

"Johnz. Where have you been this past year?" Clark asked sincerely.

"I've been here the entire time. In fact I've been by your side for most of it."

"What do you mean."

"I've secretly been posing as Hawkgirl this entire time."

"What! Where is Hawkgirl!" Demanded Diana.

"Shes with her husband. But we needed to keep her away for us to be able to keep an eye on you."

"You and Batman have always been deceiving manipulators."

"I always felt like I never earned your trust." Johnz replied.

"Yes well it seems my suspicions were correct."

"Why would you do this johnz?" Clark jumped back in.

"What you are doing here is affecting more than just this planet. It's affecting my home planet as well."

"I never meant to hurt anyone. I am just trying to help."

"I know Clark but you are going about it all the wrong ways."

"You're wrong. This is the only way."

"You may think that but you're wrong. I know this because I went through something similar in my life." Johnz explained. He then telepathically showed Clark Johnz childhood, he showed him how he grew up in war torn world where his people were slaughtered and enslaved. The feeling of desperation and helplessness that very much reciprocated that of which Superman felt when he watched Lois die. Superman pulled back yelling for him to stop.

That was when Wonder woman stepped forward lunging at Johnz but he fazed through her and entered her body. Wonder woman began to suffocate unable to breath, Superman left with no choice fired his laser beams at her incinerating Johnz and killing him. "He was about to kill me." Diana stated in disbelief.

"I know." Clark replied in shock at what he had just done.

"You did the right thing Clark. Thank you."
