Superman
Superman had called in his team to inform them of the great news, Lex Luther was alive. Superman took Lex to the Watch tower hovering in space to talk more."How the hell are you alive?" Asked Superman.
"Well as you know being the world's richest person does have its perks. You see I hired a low-level speedster to be on standby in case an emergency were to arise. That being said the second the bomb went off I was lucky that it exploded from downtown Metropolis giving the speedster a total of 4 seconds to get me to safety. Unfortunately for her, she didn't make it. She died trying to save other people."
"I see. So do you know if anyone else survived?" Superman asked with cautious optimism.
"Unfortunately my friend no. I'm sorry. I know what happened to Conner and Lois as well. I'm truly, terribly sorry. I wish there was a way to help."
"Thank you, but now that you mention it there is something you can do."
The rest of league members had arrived each one greeting Lex, happy he was alive. After everyone had settled in Superman brought Lex into a room and began explaining what he had been doing for the past couple of weeks. After hours of talking Lex saw what exactly Superman had planned.
"I see your plan. It's spectacular. Bringing peace to this earth by not allowing governments to stand in the way truly is the way. However if I may speak candidly you are going about it all wrong."
"What do you mean," superman asked.
"You want to bring peace by having people accept you not by forcing them into submission. Trust me you will have many less protesters if you make people feel like they are making their own decisions instead of forcing them."
"Well, how the hell do I do that?"
"Easy. Allow me to be in charge of your public image and ill take care of the rest."
"Why should we trust you?" Jumped in Wonder Woman.
"Because by the looks of it no one here has any idea of what you are doing, And If you continue like this you'll only make people oppose even more."
"Doesn't seem much of an option to let you help us then." She replied.
Superman interjected "Diana please Lex has my full trust. If he believes he can help us bring peace to this world then I believe him."
Raven
The two newest members of the team Cassie and Roy had finally arrived at Jump city, all be it late. Wally and the rest of the team greeted them taking them to their respective rooms, during this time the team had not received any news or update on the current situation. it had been several days since Batman had sent them back home and the only news they had was the broadcast that had been aired of Superman making his statement on Arkham.
During those days when they didn't have anything to do they would find themselves discussing the events that were going on among the leaders of the hero community.
"I just don't get it you would think for the earth's greatest heroes they would at least have some sort of maturity instead of just lashing out against one another," stated Jaime.
"Never meet your heroes." Roy answered sarcastically.
"Seriously though how are we more cohesive then the Justice league?" Cassie asked to the group.
"You guys give them too much credit. All the fame and glory has left them brain dead." Answered Donna.
Wally then spoke up. "Whatever they have to do to figure things out they better do it quick before it's too late."
