Superman/The Green Lanterns
Clark sat beside Diana who was still in a coma. Diana was being watched over in her home place Themyscira with her mother keeping a close eye on her. Clark saw Diana injured body and was reminded of what had happened and blamed himself for it, he thought. "Do you know if she will recover?" Clark asked Diana's mother Hippolyta.
"Our doctors have no idea whether she will ever wake up. But my daughter is strong. I have faith she will recover soon."
"I'm sorry for not protecting her. I wish I could've done more. This is all my fault."
"Dont be too hard on yourself Kal-el. My daughter chose to fight by your side. She knew the risk."
"Diana has always been one of my closest friends. She's always had my back. I don't think I'll ever be able to repay my debt."
"Diana has grown to be quite the woman. I'm sure she would be happy knowing that the goal you two were working towards had succeeded."
"Yes, I'm sure she would. I just wish she could one day see it for herself. Can I ask you something?"
"Of course."
"Do you think I am doing the right thing?" Clark asked. Hippolyta took a deep breath looking down at her daughter.
"The world of men has always been destructive. They have a natural tendency to dominate one another for their own gain. I knew that eventually it would lead to their destruction. I never understood why they had such violent and shameful behavior. Clark what you have done, put order and peace into their chaotic world is one of the greatest things anyone has ever done."
"Thank you. It's nice to know there are others who support what I am doing."
Clark then received a message from Damain telling him it was urgent and that he needed to be in Gotham now. Clark excused himself and flew off to meet with Damian. After a few minutes he met up with Damian in the hall of justice "Whats wrong?" He asked Damian. Damian simply stepped aside revealing Guy Gardner, Kilowag, and Jessica Cruz all who stood behind Ganthet, the head of the Gurdians of the Universe. It seemed they were here for serious reasons. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting." Clark said in a false diplomatic way.
"Kal-el we must speak in private." Ganthet said with a calm voice.
"Okay then let's step into this room." Gathent followed Clark into the room but not before ordering the rest of his party to go and retrieve Hal Jordan. Meanwhile Damain watched as everything unfolded watching Intently trying to figure what exactly this all meant.
Once inside Gathent began to explain his reason for his arrival "its been a long time since we last each other." He said.
"Indeed it has. Last I remember the Justice league helped fight off the red lanterns."
"That is correct and much has changed since then I see."
"Why are you here. The guardians aren't known for leaving OA unless their is a crisis. Is there?"
"Not like you imagine. I am here to speak with you on your recent actions."
"My actions?"
"Your dictatorship that is occurring under your command."
"Woah. I am not dictating anything. I am helping this planet from making the same mistakes it has made for thousands of years."
"Call it what you want. I've seen a 100 million men like you and I'll live to see 100 million more like you. Stop what you are doing now."
