John/Trigon

John emerged from the room with renewed energy, a determined glint in his eyes. He addressed the dispirited group gathered in the House of Mystery. "I've just been struck by a brilliant idea on how to handle Spectre and even Superman for that matter," he declared confidently.

Everyone turned to him, their interest piqued by his words. "I'll explain when I come back," John said enigmatically, before vanishing as suddenly as he had spoken, leaving everyone even more confused than before.

In stark contrast to the House of Mystery, John now stood before the mighty and intimidating Trigon, who was bound by formidable chains. The powerful demon glared at John with fiery eyes, an unsettling combination of fury and curiosity burning within them. John, for his part, showed no signs of fear or hesitation; he had come to this dangerous being for a purpose, and he was determined to see it through.

John stared up at Trigon, unfazed by the demonic figure's imposing presence. He smirked, his usual wit and audacity bubbling to the surface. "Hello, Trigon. You're looking positively demonic today," he quipped, eliciting a low growl from the restrained being.

"What do you want, Constantine?" Trigon bellowed, his voice resonating with a dark power that would have sent chills down the spine of a lesser man.

John wasted no time in getting to the point. "I've got a proposition for you. You see, we're having a bit of trouble with a certain powerful entity known as the Spectre. He's joined forces with Superman's regime, and, as you can imagine, that's causing quite the headache for us."

Trigon sneered, his interest piqued. "And what could I possibly gain from assisting you?"

"Well," John began, "Aside from the satisfaction of taking down the so-called 'Spirit of Vengeance,' I have reason to believe that Superman's regime might be meddling with forces that could threaten your dominion."

Trigon's fiery eyes narrowed, considering John's words. "Go on."

"You see, Trigon, I believe we can use your immense power to face off against the Spectre. Your demonic might is one of the few forces that could rival his own. In return for your help, we'll ensure that Superman's regime doesn't encroach upon your territory," John explained, his voice dripping with confidence. However, Trigon wasn't entirely convinced

"I must admit although ending the so called spirit of vengeance would fetch a good reward i still want more," Trigon stated. John hesitated for a moment before reluctantly taking a step forward, "ill offer you, my soul, as well as Fate's helmet, John conjured a spell displaying the shiny gold helmet. Trigon looked down before cracking a small smirt.

"Deal" Trigon sneered "But how will you free me from my chains?"

"Don't worry I will take care of that."

John reappeared in the House of Mystery, his face resolute and prepared for what was to come. The team looked at him expectantly, seeking answers to the mystery he had left them with.

"Alright, everyone, gather 'round," John began, capturing their attention. "I've brokered a deal with Trigon to help us against the Spectre and Superman's regime. His power rivals that of the Spectre and can tip the scales in our favor."

Murmurs of surprise and concern rippled through the group, but John pressed on. "Now, I know it's far from ideal to be making deals with demons, but we're in desperate need of a trump card. Trigon has his own reasons for joining our cause, and he's agreed to lend his strength to our fight."

Batman frowned, his jaw set. "Constantine, you do realize the risks involved in making such a pact? What's to stop Trigon from turning on us once the Spectre is dealt with?"
