THIRD PERSON's POV

Jungkook raised off his seat and looked at Taehyung in surprise.

"What do you mean to stop this?" he asked, trying to hold back the tears that are threatening to fall from his eyes.

Taehyung couldn't answer, he didn't even know he could say that. But his face remained blank and dull, not moving an inch.

His face immediately softened when a tear slid down to Jungkook's rosy pink cheek as his lips started trembling for a little. It's visible that Jungkook's trying hard to stop it.

"Why are we like this, Tae? I-I can't understand what's happening between us." he stuttered, running his hand through his hair.

His tie is already loosened, lips red from all the biting and heavy breaths. Taehyung on the other side is watching Jungkook — unable to utter a word, emotions spreading all over his face.

"I'm just trying to protect you."

"And I'm just trying to make you understand the fact that people change. He's your father, and what he did to me was many years back already." Jungkook almost whispered and started to experience hiccups.

"You don't know how it feels having a father like him because you weren't in my shoes!" Taehyung shouted, ears turning ref because of agony.

Jungkook jolted up lightly, lifting his head, and saw him — looking furious. He never raised his voice at him, not even once. That thought had him feel like someone's stabbing him from his heart.

"You. Don't. Know. How. It. Feels. You fucking don't know how it feels so don't expect him to say sorry because that will never happen!" he slammed the table, causing the glass to crack that echoed around the room.

His body shake-up, terrified. His eyes looking up on Taehyung that stopped in an instant. Someone trapped him, someone trapped his whole world when he realizes it all. Jungkook let out shaky gasps, shuddering hands covered his mouth, keeping all the noises inside of his mouth. fear started eating his body up, he couldn't even maintain eye contact,

His knees weakened seeing Jungkook's puffy, red eyes — lacking happiness and took over pain.

He can't utter a word, his unstable breaths. Taehyung barely hears him but is able enough to feel a lump in his throat.

"I-I'm sorry.." Jungkook said, horrified. Chills started running down his spine, pressing his lips together. His body almost curled up -- which is why regrets started filling up the older.

Taehyung stepped closer to him, helplessly tried to reach him, but was quickly avoided. His heart ached, seeing Jungkook breaking down in silence.

He let out a wounded exhale and did not hesitate to pull him in his arms. Jungkook fought away from his grip, but Taehyung just secured it more.

His world broke into pieces when Jungkook sobs even harder, tugging at his tuxedo. They're fed up on the floor, crying together. He kept locking him in his grip so tight as if someone will steal him away from him. He doesn't give a damn if the tears are soaking his suit, he just wanted to hold Jungkook still.

His heart rattled when his cries went unheard, and it's not good.

"Jungkook, baby.." he went closer to his ear but Jungkook didn't bother to move. His head is resting down the older's chest in complete silence. The hiccups are getting louder, but it seems like Jungkook is trying to bear it by holding his breaths in.

"Forgive me, love. I'm sorry for raising my voice." he nuzzled to the younger's shoulder.

Jungkook's breaths went back to normal and removed Taehyung arms rounded his waist. Both of them stood up, Taehyung facing his back. He knew Jungkook's going to step away from him. He touched his hand, making Jungkook stop.
