THIRD PERSON's POV

"Again I'm going to remind everyone about the report or presentation you'll perform next week, and we're only able to do it all for that day only so you need to prepare," the professor told everyone.

Some answered yes, some just nodded and some didn't listen and just continued packing their bags.

"Class dismiss."

Jungkook immediately stood up, lifting his bag on his back before fixing his clothes. Wiping a little dust from his lap, loosening his necktie.

He waited for his professor to go out of the room as well as the students in front of the class, including Hye that's now giving Jungkook a thumbs-up.

It's now strictly prohibited to go out of the room all at the same time because of loud noises created by the students squeezing themselves to the door just to go out of the room quickly. Now that they have to get out row by row, he needed to deal with it knowing that Taehyung is just a few chairs away from him. They're the only two students at the very back of the room so they need to wait for everyone to go out before exiting the room at the same time.

Their classmates, second to the last row, started to go out in a line. He felt his hands sweating. Jungkook's now wandering his eyes around just to avoid looking at his left side.

When he felt everyone left already, he did not hesitate to walk out of the room but of course, what do you expect? His name is called out by him as always.

"Jungkook..?" his deep, attractive voice echoed the room, making him stop without looking back.

"What time should I go to the dorm later?" he asked softly but didn't affect the younger that much, unlike what he always does.

"Anytime you want tonight," he replied coldly, looking in his shoulders.

"Or do you want to go now with me?"

Eyes wide open, Jin looked back to Jungkook, still can't figure it out.

"We're only here for our project. No need to worry about it hyung," the younger stated as Jin constantly nodded his head before transferring his stare to Taehyung's that now forcing a smile, hut enough to make Jin feel relieved.

He bowed to the older as a matter of respect. Greeted him happily, as if nothing happened between the two. Jin got confused for a second, feeling that both of them is still not on good terms.

"Good evening, Jin hyung," Taehyung greeted. His smile looks genuine but still has a shade of hesitation.

"Good..evening too Taehyung.." Jin greeted back before looking with a questioning look on both of them.

Taehyung's genuine smile turned into an awkward one. He's starting to feel uncomfortable with the situation which is noticed by Jin immediately.

He cleared his throat, fixing his figure before smiling again.

"You two can go up to your room, Jungkook. I'll bring snacks later on," he spoke, letting the two go inside the house.

Taehyung wandered his eyes, it's been a long time since he last went there. Still the same, but he can spot a few changes that didn't affect how gorgeous it looks.

"Are you just going to stand there or what?"

He stumbled on his spot before looking at Jungkook who is now staring at him blankly, his right eyebrow raised. The older laughed awkwardly as Jungkook turn around to the dining table.

There he scratched his nape before running like a 5-year-old kid following him up there.

His mouth turned "O", meeting a cool, dim room. His room became much cooler than the last time he saw it.

"Stay there on the couch. I'm just going to change."

Taehyung nodded his head, following Jungkook's movement with his eyes to the bathroom, holding a pair of pajamas.

He hates me. A lot.

Not knowing what to do, he sighed deeply. He positioned his backpack beside him, crossing his legs before touching his chin.

Yes, it pained him. But does it even make sense knowing that Jungkook is getting tougher and tougher every time they see each other?

JUNGKOOK's POV

Destiny? How long will it affect both of us?

I stayed inside for about half an hour, just staring at my reflection, thinking about how can I manage for later. I know he doesn't care even if I'll stay here the whole night.

"Hm... pick yourself up and go outside already," I whispered, fixing my pajamas before rotating the doorknob open, seeing the room still dim.

Sighing heavily, I accidentally saw him on the sofa. My heart skipped a bit, seeing him staring at the wall, hand rubbing his chin with his legs crossed.

He probably felt me staring at him, so he immediately looked in my direction before sitting properly, like quickly. Looks like he saw a ghost.

I rolled my eyes secretly, turning my way to my desk, turning the light on together with my little LED lights, flashing softly with its color, white.

"You can read some of my researches on my laptop here, I'll get my other laptop to type more about it."

I heard nothing. The deafening silence is the only one that circulates the room. Got me confused, so I looked at my back and there I saw him, staring at me with his little smile plastered on his face. He looked down suddenly, shrugging his body before looking up to me again.

"You..really look cute when you're serious," he said, chuckling after.

I bit the inside of my lip, stopping myself from smiling which I did. Kinda got me, but I needed to stay like this.

"Can you stop joking around? Just get the laptop here and I'll get the other one," I said rudely, totally rolling my eyes, shifting my stares back to what I'm doing.

"Am I cute.." I asked lowly to myself before shaking my head.

"Yes, you are."

My eyes widen, flinching because of the sudden voice in my back.

"You are..and you're always cute, okay?"
