THIRD PERSON's POV

The day went plain and boring. The males never got to talk to each other, and it's growing Taehyung worried. The way Jungkook is making himself busy is quite different, he never does that. Not talking to him felt incomplete, but what can he do? The boy is spaced out, the conversation he's trying to create with him doesn't make sense at all.

On the other hand, Jungkook knew the glances the older has been stealing. Oh right, he ordered him to stay at his office to do all the work.

The silence circulating the four sides of the room is deafening to Taehyung, but Jungkook just read and sign those papers in front of him — unaware that everything is already awkward. Well, for Taehyung though. Jungkook didn't notice that Taehyung has been staring at him for a while.

He looked up when he started clearing his throat, getting caught by the younger in which he immediately avoided the look on Jungkook's eyes.

"Do you need anything?" Jungkook asks, tilting his head.

Taehyung pressed his lips together and lightly clenched his chin. "No, no. I'm okay." he then forced a smile on him, looking away in an instant.

Jungkook placed his other leg on top of the other one before dropping his pen down the table, scanning the gulping Taehyung.

"Is something wrong—"

"Nothing's wrong," Taehyung answered briefly, wetting his lips and head still placed low.

The brunette was about to say something when the other abruptly interrupted him with a somber aura.

"Um... Taehyung? Any problems?" Jungkook babbled in awe.

"Do you want to grab a drink?" He randomly asked, hitting his head lightly because of the dumb question but patiently waited for him to answer. It feels like forever since we last drink, though they did a few days ago.

A sad sigh is what Jungkook gave and pointed a bunch of papers at the edge of his desk.

"Got lot things to do. I need to do some research at home as well." Jungkook responded, leaning his back to the chair.

Cat got Taehyung's tongue, unable to bring up the conversation. He was about to say the thing he wanted to spit but it stays inside his mouth. The feeling of this is pretty unusual, he's quieter than before.

"Don't stress yourself because of me, Taehyung. I'm okay and well, no need to worry." he enlightened the older that looked at him straight to the eye anxiously.

No words have to describe how scared he was to see Jungkook looking tired and seems like pushing his self to work just to prove to him that he's okay. Plus, the document. He needs to help him, but how.

His heart melted when the younger offered him a small, genuine grin — leaving butterflies around his stomach. His thin lips curved and broke into a smile, the surroundings started to turn bright again. He stood up away from his seat and walked heading to his love, his home. Jungkook met Taehyung's arms, pulling each other into a tight hug. He felt his head burying on the crook of his neck and strong arms around his waist.

"Such a baby, hm?" whispered Jungkook as he slowly closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around his neck.

"Please, don't make me worry like that again. You scared the hell out of me." Taehyung muttered softly and started whining like a kid.

A chuckle left Jungkook's mouth and nodded repeatedly. "I'm sorry, hun. I'm sorry for making you worry."

Taehyung broke the hug and let their foreheads touch. Those pupils, lacking purpose yet full of hope for them — and that made him feel relieved, at least.
