JUNGKOOK's POV

I woke up coughing in the middle of the night. I went downstairs quietly as possible, getting a glass of water. Gulping, I went up to the room again, feeling the coldness hitting my skin.

There I let my eyes wander. The desk area is in mess. Used papers are around and candy wrappers, as well an empty bottle of water lying under. The lamp's light is dim but I'm able to see some things on the floor.

Boredom is starting to fill my body. My eyes are wide awake and literally will not close again. I'll end up sleeping in the class, for sure. I can't force myself to sleep again, it's useless now that I'm not sleepy at all.

I dived to my bed, staring at the ceiling with my glow-in-the-dark little solar system that just makes me calm and light. They were flashing green, too cute to handle.

After a few minutes of admiring them, I sat down on my bed, grabbing my phone before letting my body under the blanket just like earlier.

I went to check all my socials when I accidentally tapped one of the notifications, bringing me to my Contacts and the missed calls.

My jaw dropped with my eyes wide open, examining it properly. Scroll up, scroll down. A lot. There's a lot of missed calls.

41 missed calls. That many calls from him.

Instant regret suddenly crawled to my body. All of them since a while ago. The last call just went last eight minutes ago. I quickly went to check my messages and there I saw a hundred notifications coming from him.

I flinched when a sudden call popped on my screen. Not knowing if I'll answer it or not, I decided to just stare at it.

Biting my lip, I removed the blanket on top of me before sitting down. My hands say no, but my mind ordered me to answer it. How do I talk to him because of what happened?

It kept ringing and ringing. I'm unable to just press the answer button because of sharp pain filling my chest. Instead of letting it out, I decided to not make any noise.

I felt hot tears at the edge of my eye, threatening to fall. I tried to control it as much as possible but lost it when the ringing stops, leaving the room quiet again.

Why is it so hard to ignore you, Kim Taehyung?

I looked up, seeing the hyungs cleaning the whole area of the dining table, kitchen, as well as living room. As usual, Yoongi hyung is again nowhere to be found. It's been a long time since we last talked.

Holding my backpack strap, I watched them carefully helping each other to clean. I haven't seen them clean together, Jin hyung is usually the one who cleans the whole house every week.

After a few seconds of watching them, I decided to go in Jin hyung's direction in the kitchen, right in front of the sink. I tugged his shirt lightly, making him turn to me.

"Oh, Jungkook. Going to school already?" he asked, turning his head back to what he is doing.

"Yes. I..just wanted to say goodbye," I answered.

He faced me once again with his confused eyes, drying his hands before holding his hips.

"Okay...do you want me to bring you there?" he asked again. I break into a smile before shaking my head no.

"You don't need to, hyung. I gotta go now."

"Alright. Take care! Be home early, okay?"

He smiled, nodding his head, allowing me to go outside the dorm already. I turned my back walking out of the kitchen, walking past by to my hyungs that now are focused on their work.

"Hey, Jungkook. Be safe!" I heard Hoseok hyung shouted. I slowed down my tracks, looking at my shoulder before lifting my hand, waving him goodbye.

My breaths started to become much calmer when my eyes see trees of green. The air is very refreshing along with a clean road. The sun is up so high, hitting my skin.

I started to walk down to the sidewalk, kicking the little stones I walk past like a five-year-old kid.

Speaking of which, I'm going to school once again. A lot of things happened yesterday. Tiring and exhausting.

Oh, that girl. That girl I met on the rooftop of the school. Shin Hye. I wonder how is she doing right now. I didn't expect to be friends with her. She is a happy-go-lucky person so I guess we will bond well as friends and classmates.

Going to school, means I'm going to see him again. I'm frustrated with things, then I'll remember that again. Silly, I adore him anyway.

"Phew!"

I'm lucky that I arrived earlier than I thought I would be. Students are still looking the same as they go together inside the campus.

Bad day again for sure. Every day is a very bad and boring day so nothin' new.

"Earth to Jeon Jungkook!"

I snapped back to reality right after that voice. My head looked at my side and saw her, arms-crossed while looking at me directly in the eye.

My brows suddenly met, making her look furious at me.

"Yah! Don't you recognize your noona?" she said loudly, making me step back.

"I...I thought you don't want me to call you noona?"

Hye covered her mouth, looking at me with her eyes wide open.

"Oh, I remember. I'm sorry about that," she giggled before throwing sharp stares at me again.

"Anyway, why are you early? Planning to go there again?"

"Well kinda, I guess?" I answered.

"Then what are you waiting for? Let's go!"
