THIRD PERSON's POV
She laughed, hard. So much that she almost spat her tea out.
"Why mad? Aren't you the one who approached me to bring your helpless company back from where it was before?" Samantha's eyes showed up and reflected the moon shining from above.
She carefully removed her huge hat, placing it down at the table, and intertwined her fingers.
"How's the company going, my love? What can you say?" she asked, gently tugging her see-through, laced black gloves as she patiently waited for him to answer.
Taehyung held his breath, looking away as the bulge in his neck went up and down out of frustration with the mix of nervousness.
"Just...tell me what you want in return," he said with full of faltering, almost swallowing his own words. He knew Samantha likes playing games and saying those words can be dangerous.
A sly smirk showed up on her lips and went to trace his defined jaw, but Taehyung didn't move an inch. He let her, even if it's not agreeing with his body at all.
He let out a brief gasp when she moved close to his ear, feeling her breath hitting his skin.
"You know what I want, baby."
Taehyung's breathing hitched before slapping her hand away from his face. "What makes you think I'll do that? Just take the company back from where it was then. I don't care anymore."
"I'd rather die than hurt Jungkook." he continued, crossing his arms over his chest and gave her his dagger stares.
Samantha's upper lip curved upwards before rolling her eyes in annoyance. Too sweet for her to hear, and it doesn't sound good at her ears at all.
"If we'll not tell him, then it'll not hurt him," she suggested, thinking that Taehyung will agree. What she expected vanished when he slammed his fist down the table, earning a sharp intake of air from her lips.
"It's so funny to see you think that I will do all the things you told me tonight. You never changed, Samantha. You're still dumb as fuck." he grunted, making her stiff at her seat when his burning eyes darted straight to her soul — for sure, the longer she stares, the longer she grew uncomfortable because of how harsh he offers her a look.
"Bring the company back from where it was. Collect all my investors and leave, I can still live my life without that shit anyways. The fact that it was father's before, I wouldn't hesitate to let that fall rather than doing what you think I'll do."
She looked away, jaw clenching in fear. Her eyes watered for a bit, as she bites the inside of his cheeks to lessen the fear.
Samantha heard him scoff, eaning back to the seat he's seated. "Damn, it's been years and you're still being a kid. A miracle to see you running a company."
"You think I'm not smart to handle one?" she asked back, raising an eyebrow as she secretly created a fist in her hand.
He smirked, tilting his head as his tongue poked the inside of his cheeks. "Finally, you're correct. I thought you knew you were," he whispers the last sentence but was loud enough for the girl to hear who started gritting her teeth.
"You're a fucking lair, Taehyung. Your attitude says it all." she angrily whisper-yelled, blood almost drawing out of her palm because of how tight her nails dug into her skin.
