Quick A/N, the first part of the chapter is going to be somewhat going to be like the episode where Erza "Died" and she was able to see what happened to the guild if she had actually died. But first were going to start with Natsu and the gang.

Natsu's P.O.V

I pulled Lucy's limp body into my arms. Being as gentle as I could be with her. The small smile she had given me when I first entered the tent was still showing on her face. She looked peaceful, almost like she was sleeping. Although, I knew that wasn't the case. Erza and Gray quickly rushed over. As soon as Erza saw all the blood I could hear her soft gasp as she covered her mouth. Gray looked from Lucy to me then back to Lucy. I looked up at them both a sad look on my face. "I...I didn't find her in time.." My voice was strained. I was trying my best to hold back my tears, but I could already feel a few of them slipping down my cheeks.

Gray got down onto one knee and held out his arms almost like he was asking for a hug. "Why don't you let me carry her? We can go to the village doctor and call for Wendy." My grip on Lucy instinctively tightened and I growled slightly. I promised no one would touch her. "No. I can carry her. No one is going to harm her again." My voice was deeper, authoritative, a tone that I never use. Gray immediately backed off.

Erza looked down at me. "You two get her to the doctor as quick as possible. I'll go get Lisanna and we'll meet the two of you there." I only gave a short nod. Carefully using my left arm, I wiggled my arm under the crook of her knees and gently picked both of us up off the ground. I was a little unsteady at first, Gray came to support me, but I growled at him again. I wasn't going to let anyone get close to her right now. I needed to protect her. She was so badly hurt. I steadied myself quickly and looked at Gray.

"Let's go." I almost sounded monotone. I looked down at Lucy. Her hair had fallen slightly into her face. I wanted to move it so it wouldn't bother her but I didn't have a free hand to do so. "Don't worry Lucy. We're going to get you help so you can come back home to your family." I whispered to her. I don't know if she heard me, but I hope that she did. I hoped she wasn't in too much pain.

Very carefully Gray and I rushed to the village doctor just as the sun started to rise.

Lucy's P.O.V

The light was so bright. Everything seemed like this pale yellow tone. I squinted my eyes for a moment and raised my hands to rub my eyes hoping that it would help them adjust so that I could see. All I could remember was Natsu coming into the tent and the leader of the bandits stabbing me in the back. Oddly enough I wasn't in pain. I wondered why. When I lowered my hands I noticed that my clothes had changed. I was in a beautiful white satin dress that had a pretty blue ribbon tied into a bow around the waist. Just where was I? Am I dead?

As I looked at the light more the scene began to change. It was inside the guild. Everyone was wearing black and looked so sad. I didn't understand what was going on. "Natsu? Where are you?" No one turned to even look at me as I spoke. I finally spotted him sitting at a table with Erza and Gray. His head was laying down on the table. His normally spiky hair looked so limp and his toned muscles were smaller now. I know with those ears of his he should've been able to hear me so why didn't he respond? Why did everyone look so sad?

The master came walking out of the office with his head hung somewhat low. Most of the guild looked up to look at him, but I noticed that Natsu didn't move an inch. What was going on with him? I walked over to him. "Natsu? What going on? Why does everyone look sad and wearing all black? Who died?" Then Master raised his head and looked out to everyone. Tears were streaming down his face.

"My children. It is with much sadness that I tell you that our dear Lucy has left us. We knew for a while that this day was coming when she slipped into her coma. She took her last breath just moments ago," my hand raised to cover my mouth as I gasped slightly. Surely this must be some kind of mistake. I mean, IM RIGHT HERE. I looked to Natsu, but he still hadn't raised his head from the table. "Let us all move to the graveyard to say our final goodbyes to our dearest Lucy of Fairy Tail." As the master finished up his short speech sobs were heard from almost everywhere in the guild. I noticed that Gajeel was holding Levy close as she sobbed into his shoulder. "Oh Levy...I'm so sorry."

The scene changed once again with that pale yellow light and now I found myself floating above the graveyard. Watching as my guild mates sobbed and cried. The headstone there had my name on it and a beautiful star was carved into it. Gray was holding Juvia who was crying. Even though we had our ups and downs I still considered her a close friend. Just like I considered everyone in Fairy Tail apart of my family.

Master was standing up by the gravestone. It had slowly started to rain. I couldn't tell if it was actual rain or because Juvia was crying so much, but everyone who was there was starting to get soaked. The master began to speak then, "We will never forget the day that Lucy had come to join our Fairy Tail family. She had been brought by Natsu because she had always dreamed of coming to join our family. She had many laughs with us and also shared our tears. She was a bright spot in all of our lives. We hope that you join the stars that you admired so deeply. Your Fairy Tail family will always love you and continue to carry your memories in our hearts."

Erza walked up and placed a hand on the masters shoulder. He was saying all that through his tears and even though she was crying she was doing her best to be strong. "I can't stand this! Lucy isn't gone! She would never leave us!" Natsu came running up and kicked the beautiful yellow flowers that had been placed on the grave. He looked so angry. I covered my mouth again and did my best to hold my tears back as I watched the scene unfolding in front of me. I didn't think that any of them cared so much anymore. Not after I had stopped talking to everyone. It wasn't that I didn't want to talk to them. It was just that anytime someone started a conversation with me they always ended up leaving in the middle of it because Lisanna had walked in the door and they wanted a moment to catch up with her before she was swarmed with everyone else trying to talk to her. Not that it ever worked because by the time they had reached her she always had a good crowd around her that was trying to get her attention. I wasn't jealous of it.

Erza looked up, even though she was still crying she talked in such a stern tone. "That's enough Natsu. Lucy is gone. She's moved on from this world." A couple of the guys had ran and tackled Natsu to the ground shortly after that. Gray was the first one to get him down, then Wakaba and Macao were there helping him shortly after. Even little Romeo was there to help. Wendy was standing alone and she held her hands up to her face. "Why can't you just accept it Natsu? Mrs. Lucy-San is gone! We can't bring her back!"

Natsu roared. I didn't know if it was from pain from being slammed down to the ground or if it was because of his emotional pain. "Then we just have to go get her! We will always find her! She can't be gone! I know she's here!"

I started to sob quietly. "Oh Natsu...I'm so sorry...I never meant to cause everyone so much pain." I closed my eyes and the scene began to fade. The darkness swallowing me slowly.

Natsu's P.O.V

I held Lucy's body close to my chest. Her shoulders and arms were already starting to get cold. I wanted to keep her warm so I pulled her closer to me. My body naturally warm. Gray was leading us towards the village doctor, but I didn't know if we were going to make it there in time. There was so much blood coming from her wound. It covered my entire arm and dripped steadily down onto the ground. Her skin losing its beautiful rosy color. "C'mon Natsu! We have to hurry!"

Gray was picking up the pace. I knew he wanted to save Lucy too, but no one wanted to save her as much as I did. I picked up the pace with him. My feet thumped against the ground as I got into a fast paced jog. I didn't want to jostle Lucy too much so I didn't make the wound worse.

It took us about twenty minutes to get from the bandits hideout to the doctors office that was almost in the middle of town. I could still just barely smell Lucy's scent. Mixing with death faster the longer we waited. Gray busted into the office quickly just as the sun peaked over into the village from the mountains. "We need help!" He screamed. The town doctor came running quickly.

"Bring her this way and lay her down here boy. I'll do everything I can." I did as I was told, laying Lucy carefully onto the bed. Her crimson blood changing the white satin sheets to a pinkish red color. "Both of you out. I need to focus." I ignored what he said and just sat down against the wall. My back sliding against the plaster until my ass connected with the hardwood floor. Gray and the doctor were talking away furiously about what happened, but my eyes were locked on Lucy. I wasn't leaving her side again.
