Back with them

Lucy's P.O.V

It only took a few minutes before the door burst open and in came five familiar faces. Wendy looked like she was about to burst out crying from happiness. Gray just had this sly smirk on his face like he knew that I would already be awake today. Erza had a big smile on her face as she nodded in my direction, like 'I'm proud of you' kind of thing she does. Then there was Happy who was just crying as he flew over to me quickly and landed in my lap.

Natsu however was just standing there staring at me. Like he didn't know what to say or do. How to react to seeing me awake.

"We're all very glad to see you awake Lucy. Are you feeling better?" Erza asked me as she walked closer to my bed.

I smiled a bit and nodded. I was feeling a lot better and wasn't in so much pain. Parts of what happened were still a bit fuzzy to me, but to my assumption I had been kidnapped and it had made them all pretty pissed. Even from here I could see Natsu's bruised knuckles that were still healing.

"You had us all pretty worried Lucy-san. Is there anything we can get you? You'll have to stay in bed for a bit, but you'll be up and moving before you know it." Wendy had smiled at me as she too walked closer along with Gray. I had shook my head to answer her question. My throat still felt a bit sore so I didn't want to push it by trying to talk.

Gray took his hand and rubbed my head slightly in one of those brotherly ways like he always does. "Don't scare us like that again. Otherwise flamebrain might really lose it." He chuckled a bit and glanced over at Natsu who was still standing over in the doorway.

I tilted my head at him curiously. He hadn't moved the entire time yet. Like he had forgotten how to breathe and how to act. I smiled to him and held out my arm shakily to him. Extending my hand for him to take.

Just like that, whatever trance he was in broke, and he moved quickly to take my hand and be by my side. "Y..you had me worried Luce. Are you sure you're ok?" He questioned me timidly.

I took a deep breath. They all looked at me expectantly. I smiled a bit and finally took the first step towards telling him everything. "I...I'm o..ok." I whispered out. I had meant for it to come out louder, but I guess I just didn't have the strength for it yet. However, I guess that was all it took because he quickly wrapped his arms around me and began to hug me gently.

I guess even though I hadn't spoken that loud Natsu was still able to hear me. Which made me happy. Slowly I wrapped my arms around him and returned his embrace. His face was hidden in my shoulder, but even by not looking at him I could tell he was crying silently into my shoulder.

"I'm...I'm so happy you're back Luce." He whispered into my ear. I just smiled and continued to hug him. He may be dense, but I still love him.
