What Happened to Levy?

Natsu's P.O.V

I walked into the market to buy some supplies. Luce didn't really have anything to eat in her tiny apartment and I was starving to say the least. All the food here was making my mouth salivate. It all looked absolutely delicious. Especially the meat! I could grill it and give some to Luce. Even though I've never seen her eat all that much I still bet if I fed her a bunch of meat that she would be back to feeling like her old self in no time.

I walked up to the stall that had different kinds of red meat and fish in and told the man that I would take one of each. He chuckled at me, "got a big family waiting at home do ya?" I blushed a bit at the mans comment. I mean Luce was my partner and I wanted to spend all kinds of time with her. So I guess in a way she was family to me and there was no way that I wasn't going to let anything like that ever happen to her again.

"No just a sick friend. She didn't have much in her apartment so I want to make sure she has food for a while even after she gets to feeling better." I told him. The man smiled at me and gave me a discount on all the product I bought. He even threw in a get well basket.

"I hope your friend feels better soon!" He called after me as I started to walk away. I smiled and turned a bit to wave goodbye to the kind man. I couldn't wait to get back to Luce and show her all the good foods I had waiting for her here. She was going to feel better in no time. Maybe she would even start talking again. I missed her sweet voice.

Of course you do. It's because she's yours you idiot. I scoffed at the voice in my head again. It had been going on like this for a while. Him constantly calling Luce mine. Of course she was mine. She's my partner and my friend. No one is taking her away from me. *sigh* you'll get it eventually I suppose.

With that the voice was quiet again as I continued to make my way back to Luce's apartment. The streets of Magnolia were lined with plenty of people all taking part in the market that was out today. Kids were running around and playing like they had magic and was saving a princess in distress. I chuckled at the thought. I remember playing somewhat like this with Lisanna, but now I had Luce and we went on all kinds of adventures together. Real adventures and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I got back to the building of Luce's apartment and smiled. I almost wanted to jump through the window just to surprise her with all the delicious food that I had brought back for us, but I decided against it knowing that she would probably Lucy kick me and make me drop everything.

Walking up the steps I approached Lucy's door, but something smelled off. A scent that I didn't recognize had been here. I walked closer to her door to find it slightly ajar with some scorch marks on the door. I growled slightly as I pushed open the door.

Luce's apartment had been trashed. The novel she had previously on the desk was scattered across the ground. The scent of blood coated the papers as I noticed a couple drops on them. They smelled just like Luce. Furniture had been overturned. Dishes were broken across the floor. The last thing I noticed was Levy thrown against a wall, bleeding slightly from her forehead, badly beaten up.

My blood was boiling. Seeing my family hurt like this. Fire was building around me and I dropped everything in my hands and ran over to Levy. "Levy! Levy! Wake up! Where's Lucy?!" I yelled as I slightly shook her, trying to wake her up. However, she didn't budge. She was completely out.

The voice in my head growled loudly. Someone has our Luce. Leave her and go find her! It screamed at me. I flinched slightly from how loud the voice was inside my head. As much as I wanted to just leave and go find her right now I couldn't leave Levy like this. She had been here to take care of Luce.

"I have to get her to the guild for medical treatment and then we'll go and burn alive whoever took Lucy. I can promise you that." I told the voice in my head through gritted teeth. There was no I was just going to let go whoever was hurting my family. They would pay for this!

I quickly picked up Levy as carefully as I could. Shuttering at the idea of how pissed off Erza and Gajeel would probably be. He could deny it as much as he wants, but everyone in the whole guild could tell how much he cares for her. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of his wrath from someone hurting her.

Rushing out of Lucy's apartment I ran as quick as I could to the guild hall. I didn't care about all the people that were pointing at me and pulling their kids away. I needed to get Levy to the guild so I could hurry and go save Lucy. Who knows what they could be putting her through?! She's already hurt enough as it is!

Finally arriving at the guild hall I burst through the giant doors. "Quick! I need help! Levy has been hurt!" The first person that ran over to me was Wendy. She told me that she would treat her right away. The next three people who came over were Erza, Gray, and Gajeel.

"Who did this Natsu?! And where is Lucy?! You're supposed to be with her!" Erza screamed at me. I just looked at her. I don't know if it was my face or something from my eyes, but she immediately calmed her anger.

"Someone took her. I didn't recognize the scent, but whoever it was hurt Lucy. Hers and Levy's blood was in the apartment. I'm going to find her now." I told her. I was boiling mad and there was no way I was going to just sit here.

"We're coming with you flame brain." Gray told me as Erza and Gajeel just nodded as if saying that they were going too.

I grinned. "I'm all fired up now!" I yelled. Don't worry Lucy. I'm on my way to save you.
