3rd Person P.O.V
The doctor that Gray and Natsu had brought Lucy to was working as quickly as he could. He called out to his daughters multiple times to get different supplies that he needed as he continued to attempt to stop the bleeding on Lucy's back. The wound was deep and because of the type of knife that the bandit had used had been curved the doctor was sure that an artery had at least been nicked. Not only that, but the pinkish tint that Lucy's blood had signaled to the doctor that she was losing blood to fast for it to have not hit an artery.
Natsu continued sitting there in the corner. His back sitting gently against the wall. The walls in the doctors home smelled old and somewhat musty. They were an ugly color of pale yellow, but to Natsu the color reminded him of Lucy's hair. It wasn't as dull as the walls were, but the color was almost an exact match. He had pulled a leg close to his chest. Both of his toned arms were wrapped around his knee as he rested his chin on the top of his knee. No one could really tell what was on his mind because Natsu wasn't answering anyone. His eyes were completely focused on Lucy and watching the doctor.
The doctor worked vigorously for the next three hours till a little bluenette dragon slayer came bursting in the door with two exceeds. "Thank goodness you're finally here Wendy. The doctor has been doing his best to stop the bleeding for the past couple hours." Erza had told her. Natsu hadn't let anyone else get closer without him growling at them. Wendy cautiously looked to Natsu and slowly approached him. The worry was plain on her face, but whether that was for Natsu or Lucy it was uncertain. Most likely for both. Wendy loved everyone in the guild and she had always looked up to Lucy like her family.
"Natsu-San? I'm going to do my best. I promise." Natsu's eyes flicked to Wendy as she spoke, but then soon returned to Lucy. Wendy looked back to Erza and the rest of them and took a deep breath and approached the table that the blonde celestial mage laid upon. Natsu didn't make a sound.
Natsu's P.O.V
This floor was hard and uncomfortable, but it was the only place in the room where I could sit and watch everyone in the room without being in the way of those that were doing their best to help Lucy. My heart rate was finally starting to slow down and I could feel something in my back. It started out small, but the pain was growing more as I calmed down more from my rage. It almost felt like it was in the same exact spot as Lucy had been stabbed. It was such a strange sensation that it made me grunt in pain.
Lisanna who was sitting next to me on the ground looked at me in worry. "Are you ok? Shouldn't we get you checked out too?"
My eyes never left Lucy even as she spoke to me. The pain was fading as Wendy continued to heal her. It was confusing to me. Where had that came from? Was it from Lucy? How would that even be possible? I shook my head just slightly, trying my best to shake off those thoughts. I needed to focus on Lucy at the moment.
I watched as Wendy slowly pulled her hands away and they stopped glowing. Was she finished? I quickly got up off the floor and started walking towards her. "Did you finish? Is she going to be ok?" My voice was hoarse and sounded rough.
Wendy's P.O.V
I had pulled my hands from Lucy-san and stopped. I had done everything that I could. There was still a little bit of bleeding but everything inside her should be fine now. I hoped. We wouldn't really know for sure until she woke up.
I heard a someone get off the floor and walk towards us. I'm sure it was Natsu. I turned my head to look at him.
"Did you finish? Is she going to be ok?" His voice sounded rough and hoarse. He looked like he was in a bit of pain. His eyes a bit bloodshot.
My lips pressed into a slightly thin line as I smiled at him. "I managed to stop the bleeding and healed her to the best of my ability. We just need to get her bandaged and then I would like to get her home so we can keep a closer eye on her in the infirmary."
I heard him sigh just a bit. I hope it was in relief. Erza spoke up. "Some of us should stay here to talk to the Mayor and make sure the civilians are safe."
Gray spoke next. "How about you, I, and Lisanna stay. Natsu should head back with Wendy and Lucy to make sure they get there safe." I looked to him and nodded.
Natsu was sitting on the side of Lucy's bed just looking at her. I was a bit concerned. "Natsu? Why don't you let the doctor finish cleaning her up so that we can get her back home? Would you like that?"
He didn't really say anything, but slowly climbed off the bed. I looked back to the doctor and nodded who then came over quickly to finish bandaging Lucy up. I walked over to Natsu and placed a hand on his shoulder. "She's going to turn out ok Natsu-san." He wobbled a bit when I touched him and then his balance gave way. "Natsu!"
Gray moved quickly and caught him before he could land on me. "You stupid idiot.." Gray muttered. Natsu was out cold. "He must've used too much magic energy when he took out the last bandit that got Lucy." Gray looked to Erza and she nodded.
"Gray you'll go with them and Lisanna and I will stay here to handle the rest." Gray gave a short nod and picked Natsu up and put him on his back.
3rd person P.O.V
The doctor bandaged Lucy's open wound that was on her back. The doctor had given Wendy all the possible information he could about what measures she would have to take to keep her stable on the way back to Magnolia. Wendy was too polite to interrupt him to tell him that she knew what she was doing.
Lisanna and Erza went back towards the Mayor's office and as Gray loaded Natsu into the carriage before helping the doctor get Lucy into the carriage as well. Gray then helped Wendy into carriage and then climbed in himself. He looked to Wendy and smiled a bit. "You did well Wendy, but you must be exhausted. I'm sure you used a lot of magic energy healing Lucy. Why don't you get some rest?"
Wendy shook her head slightly. "No, I should be okay. I need to watch her and make sure she rides well back home. I don't want anything to happen to miss Lucy-san."
Gray huffed a bit. He had been worried that she was pushing herself too hard. "I can keep an eye on her. Just tell me what to look out for and then if anything happens I can wake you up."
Wendy looked up at him. She was a bit pale and looked exhausted. "I'll be okay till we get them home. I just want to make sure." Gray didn't say anything more. He knew he wasn't going to win this fight with her. All the women in the guild were so strong willed that he knew it was pointless to argue with her about this.
Throughout the ride Wendy had checked on Lucy a couple of times. Each time everything had been fine. Natsu had stayed out cold for the entire time which was probably for the best. With his motion sickness and all.
Soon the carriage pulled right up to the front doors of the guild. Everyone worked quickly to move them both inside to a bed. Wendy did one more check on Lucy before finally sitting down and getting some rest. This had been a long day.
