Butter

Chapter 2

The sun shined through my window. I couldn't wait to get started today. I could hear people downstairs in my house. I could distinctly hear Gen and Louis arguing over the last pancake. I could also head Danie and Abby talking too, probably about silly videos they watched.

I hopped out of bed and went over to feed my horse. His brown mane was all knotty and I silently promised myself I would brush it today. I fed my dog as well and he barked in enjoyment. I held a finger to my lips, knowing that Marvin wouldn't want to be woken up. I threw on a more presentable shirt. It was blue sweater with light pink poke-dots. I also grabbed a pair of skinny jeans.
My bright red hair lay in a birds nest on my head. I wandered over to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I pulled out my brush as if it was sword and took a deep breath in. I then yanked my hair as hard as I could and began to untangle it.

A few minutes into my crazy hair dilemma Alexis came into the bathroom. She smiled at me with the hair brush halfway through my hair. I smiled back and continued brushing. Alexis came along side of me and brushed her teeth. She was humming a song but I couldn't tell what it was because the tooth brush was vibrating so much.

I finally finished brushing my hair and it lay wavy on my shoulders. Alexis looked over at me and my hair.
"Good morning Butter" she said. I was glad to see one of my friends in the morning, it always brightened my mood.
"Good morning Sci," I said calling her by her minecraft username, "could you braid my hair?" She nodded and grabbed my hair. It came all the way down to my belly. Using her swift hands she created a quick braid down the center of my back. I thanked her shortly after and began to head downstairs.

Gen and Louis were covered in pancake bits, but both chewing half of one with smiles on their faces. I tried to hide a laugh, as I wasn't too happy with the mess they had created but the sight was a bit comical. I sat down at the head of the table on my golden chair. I had collected a lot of gold from the years of having my golden tree so I had a friend smelt it into a chair.

Coco sat on the opposite head of the table in a chair made of cocoa pods. He was eating away at his favorite chocolate chip pancakes and wasn't taking much notice of everyone around him. Abby and Danie were chatting in the kitchen while making a cake together. In front of me was platter of pancakes with steam coming off them. I smiled to myself and dug in. Before I could get a second bite down the Helpop alarm went off. It blared through the house and I could hear a very angry and tired Marvin yelling at the top of his lungs for someone to shut it off. Gen was laughing at Louis who must've leaped into the air at the sudden sound.

The alarm shut off abruptly and I motioned to Danie to take this emergency. She stopped icing the cake and handed the job over to Abby.
"Danie, it's near the horsebarn" I said, reading off the directions on a near by monitor. "I will get to it" she replied. I could tell she wasn't that happy to be working this early in the morning.

Coco finished his meal shortly before me. I knew that after I finished it would mean I would have to start the day. I was looking forward to doing some handy work around the server, but at this time I was pretty tired.
