I was awoken by a terrifying scream. My eyes jolted open and I stared around the room. Allowing adrenaline to take a affect, I leaped out of bed. I threw the doors and scanned the courtyard wildly. I spotted something moving downstairs and dashed down the steps. Rage and fear bubbled inside of me. In the courtyard stood a large creature. It was almost all black and had three heads perched on its shoulders. It was shooting mini bombs in all directions which exploded on impact. I dove behind one of the beams in protection. I could feel it pressing up against my back. Everytime a bomb went off it would vibrate. I peered around the beam, looking for the screaming player. The creature, which I now assumed was the Wither was soaring high in the sky. I caught a flash of blue clothing. It was Louis, gripped tightly by a black claw. I gritted my teeth and pulled out my bow. Like a flash, I darted out from behind the beam. I shot aimlessly toward the direction of the Wither. I looked around me before the next wave of bombs appeared. All the mods were there, hiding or fighter. I felt a slight ease of mind, but was interrupted by yet another scream from Louis. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Coco with his diamond sword. He swung madly in the air and shouted at the creature. To my right I saw Ken frantically typing away in the entrance to the kitchen. I knocked and arrow, having full trust that our plan would work. I pulled the string back to my ear and tried to pinpoint the Wither's next move. When I locked aim, I released the bow string. The arrow soared through the and landed right on the claw that grasped Louis. Without much notification the clan released Louis. I saw him fall to the ground in slow motion. I knocked another arrow, praying Louis would be ok. I was pretty exposed now, so I had to work quickly. Before I could draw Danie pulled up next to me. She too had an arrow ready to draw. We both exchanged silent looks and drew at the same time. "Now!" I screamed. Our arrows tore through the air and both landed almost a foot apart on the monsters chest. I could now hear Abby and Adam screaming directions at all of us. "Run Matt!" yelled Adam. Matt whipped past us, sword aimed forward. He swung rapidly and connected with the tentacle like legs of the Wither. Black smoke roared from the wound, fogging up my vision. I knocked another arrow and shot blindly. Danie followed after me, shooting to the consuming smokey void. I heard Abby voice straining as she yelled more commands. My eyes scanned the room helplessly for any notion on where the Wither was. All of could hear was yelling and the sound of the bomb heads going off. I knocked three arrows on the string. Carefully I pulled back and launched them. I prayed that none would hit the close range PVPers. The fog was beginning to clear and I swatted to make to help it along. While Danie was rapid shooting next to me, I took the moment to survey the area. Abby and Adam were stationed on top of the golden tree. Matt, Coco and Gen were slashing wildly at the Wither. Alexis stood on the second floor was shooting downward. Louis lay motionless in the battle ground and I could feel myself growing nervous. Lastly Ken was still in the kitchen, typing harder than ever on his computer. I swallowed and a wave of adrenaline shot through me. I knocked a poison arrow, knowing how important a precise aim would be. I drew back the string and time felt like it had slowed down. I watched as a bomb struck the floor which then spit up bits of dust. I released the bow string and arrow soared. My aim was perfect and the arrow embedded itself in one of the Wither's heads. I glanced at Danie who eyes were focused intensely on the fight. For the first time since the start of the battle I looked up. The glowing life bar was halfway down. I wiped sweat off my forehead and knocked another poison arrow. I watched for an opening before shooting. When my aim became clear I shot. The arrow took down the second head. Right as the arrow made impact I saw a bomb head shooting toward the golden tree. I gasped as it clobbered Adam in the stomach. I watched as he was thrown backward into the wall and then crumpled in a pile on the ground. "Adam!" Abby screamed, now realizing she had to finish this off on her own. I sprinted up the stairs and made an uncalculated jump to the top of the golden tree. My jump just made it and was now standing next to Abby. "Butter!" she yelled, I nodded to her and knocked an arrow. I released a bit aimlessly and it soared and stabbed into the ground. I fumbled around in my quiver and pulled out my last poison arrow. I put all my focus into this shot. I gingerly knocked this arrow and looked around. The Wither hadn't moved much since my last shot and I knew I was set. I looked up the glowing life bar one last time. It was about 2/3s drained. I took aim and calmed myself down as to not misfire. I let go of the string. The arrow ripped through the air and landed square in the Wither's middle head. Upon impact I dropped to the ground on my knees and smiled. The glowing bar began to tumble downward, decreasing more and more. When it reached the end, the Wither exploded in a brilliant glow of light and smoke. I felt a heat wave roll over me and felt the black fog penetrate my lungs. I coughed it out and continued smiling. My eyes watered and I returned to standing and hugged Abby. I could hear whoops and cheers all around me and I felt amazing. I jumped off the golden tree gracefully and landed on my feet with a thump. For a minute I was caught it a feeling of awe. Everything felt perfect and sparkly. Then the world came into perspective. I saw Louis' limp figure on the ground and Gen and Matt gulping in air. Alexis was over by Adam hugging him tightly. I finally felt a little sense of accomplishment despite the injuries. My server had defeated the Wither.
