I walked back over to our table. Everyone has carried on with a conversation without me. "Hey." I said, sliding into my seat. They glanced up at but continued their conversation. When there a pause of silence Lars turned to me. "So who is that?" He said in a quiet voice. "Ken. An old friend. I told him that we could catch up." Lars looked at me. "You trust him?" He asked. I nodded, "yes, of course." I turned back over to the chatter between Sissi and Victoria. I couldn't help up giggle. Sissi was obviously reading a book under the table while Victoria was having her second rant about Anime. I cleared my throat. "Dessert is on me." They looked over at me. Smiles covering their faces. I held out my hand for the waiter. He came over and I asked for a cake. My stomach rumbled at the words. Our table continued talking about various things, such as how I became owner or what places we wanted to visit. Around what felt like 30 minutes later the waiter came back. He seemed rather small compared to this cake. His hands shook under the weight and he teetered over to our table. Before anyone could react we all saw the cake fly up and splatter to the floor. Then right after that the waiter slid on the cake and came crashing to the ground as well. "Oh dear." came a rather quiet cry from Sissi. My noticed another object on the ground. It was a rather frosted Ken. "Ken!" I shouted, "Did you do this?" He stared at me and then attempted to get up. His feet couldn't catch any traction and he slammed to the ground. "No I didn't" he shouted back. I got out of the booth and went over to the sliding boys. I muttered a few commands and the cake disappeared. The waiter was already up, but Ken still lay on the ground. "How did this happen?" Asked Lars. I held my hand up and helped Ken up. "I know." Ken said, brushing cake off his shirt. "Listen, the wither implanted a bomb in the cake. It was supposed to explode in your face. Looks like it was a little early. I was here to save you..." Then he muttered something that sounded like "ugh...effort." I scanned the room, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Lars tapped me on the shoulder and craned my head to look at him. "Yes?" I asked. "Butter, I think we're need your bomb-sniffer on our team." He gestured to Ken who was licking cake off his shirt. He noticed us pointing at him and came over. "So, you want me on your team, eh?" He asked, obviously he had over heard our conversation. "Yes..." I answered. "Deal, but I get to be on my laptop any time we aren't working." I sighed, even though I fully expected Ken to ask something of me. "Fine." I said. "We need a plan," I began, "we need to make sure everyone is safe from these bombs. They could be anywhere." I glanced over at our guests, who still sat at the table bewildered. "Ken?" I called. He looked at me. "What do ya want?" He asked, rather annoyed. "Search for more bombs." He nodded his head. I walked over to Victoria and Sissi. "We are going to look and see if there is anymore bombs. Why don't you two go back to your room?" I asked politely. My voice sharper and more scared than usual. They headed off to their room. I could see Ken poking around the lobby out of the corner of my eye. I pulled out my bow. I had been gathering dust from lack of use in my inventory. I knocked an arrow. The gentle click so familiar. I drew the string to my ear. Ken looked up at just the wrong moment. "What the hell! Butter!" I gasped as well, allowing the arrow to soar through the air. "Ken! Look what you did! You startled me!" I yelled. The arrow implanted itself into the wall. Straight through a painting. "Oops." I muttered under my breath. Then Ken interrupted me again. "Butter...I think you're gonna want to see this."
